Very basic, but staff tried very hard to help.
This hostal is only 3 km away from Segovia, a convenient location, but would not be a suitable place to stay for international travellers who don't understand Spanish. We booked a day before our arrival, but soon realised we were not expected. The staff did not understand English, we did not undetstand Spanish, a lot of confusion...with the help of another guest there who acted as interpreter, we were told to wait, a room had to be found, cleaned especially for us in a hurry. Meanwhile, a bar girl provided us with a bit to eat. Unfortunately our room was right above the bar, the loud noises didn't die down untill well past 2 am. The room was very basic but reasonably clean, reflected the low price we were charged. Even though the language barrier was a problem, but we can see the staff on duty were trying hard to help, we were grateful for that.

Oportunidad perdida
Llegada al hostal, ya empieza regular "la cosa". Empiezan contando una penosa historia personal (con la que empatizamos en lo personal) que justifica la falta de profesionalidad, una vez aceptadas nuestra reserva e ingreso. Nos asignan las habitaciones (teníamos reservadas 2 triples) sobre la marcha, con lo que no estaban preparadas. Día de llegada: descubrimos que la limpieza general de una de las habitaciones no era muy minuciosa, la "alcachofa" de la ducha no estaba bien, la cisterna no dejaba de expulsar agua, una bombilla del baño fundidia (la cambiamos por una de la habitación)... Día 2: Después de todo el día fuera, al llegar descubrimos que una de las habitaciones no había sido limpiada y, por tanto, no habían renovado las toallas (nos dan una escusa poco creíble para justificar que no se haya hecho). Eso sí, nos ofrecieron limpiarlas cuando informamos de ello a los responsables. Sólo cogimos toallas nuevas, pues era algo tarde para la limpieza de la habitación... Día 3: Terminada nuestra estancia, nos disponemos a abonar la cuenta con tarjeta...¡¿No tenían datáfono?! (a rascarse el bolsillo y pagar en efectivo). Para tener factura, hubo que pedirla y la nota final, con el dinero abonado, dista mucho de ser una factura...

Limpio a rabiar, discreto y tranquilo
Hicimos escala en un viaje de pareja, sólo queríamos pasar la noche, reservamos casi sin tiempo y era lo que había disponible. Nos llamó la atención la extremada limpieza del baño y la habitación, y su amplitud. Gestionado por gente muy joven, la recepción es el bar, y la zona es muy tranquila y a las puertas de Segovia (necesitas coche para ir y volver). Una alternativa barata, y muy digna.

Nem vártunk túl sokat, de nem kaptunk az elvárhatónál kevesebbet. Segoviát viszont innen jól be lehetett járni.

El Hostal no es apropiado para dormir ni descansar
Lo mejor: Habitacion amplia, limpia y con aire acondicionado, a 5 minutos en coche del centro de Segovia. Lo peor: Las paredes eran de papel din-a4,se escuchaba todo. Si otro huesped usaba la cisterna o ducha, el ruido era ensordecedor, parecia que iba a explotar todo el hostal. La habitacion que nos dieron estaba encima de la Cafeteria, eso significo que hasta las 04:30 am. aproximadamente no pudimos dormir. El personal del Hostal podia haber avisado a los clientes de la terraza que sus gritos y voces no eran acordes al descanso de la noche. No hubo agua caliente. El personal del hotel fumaba libremente por el hostal, dejando un olor a tabaco en el pasillo y en toda la estancia. La puerta que daba acceso al hostal por la noche, siempre estaba abierta, teniendo asi una nula seguridad para los clientes. Tuvimos que abandonar el hostal a las 05:30 am. y coger un hotel en las cercanias, tanto para usar la ducha como para dormir decentemente.

Hostal Viejo, necesita muchas mejoras.
El personal aunque agradable es un poco descuidado. Huele a tabaco en las zonas comunes. Al lado del hostal hay un bar que tambien es de ellos, ambos se comunican por puertas que continuamente se abren y cierran haciendo mucho ruido. La habitacion es amplia pero antigua, colchon de muelles pero cama grande. Por la mañana el agua de la ducha estaba fria no caia caliente. Total, 35e la noche para dos, que esperabas!

Por el precio que costo, esta limpio y la gente muy amable. Con wifi. El agua de la mañana estaba mas bien templada tirando a fria. Esta a 5 min en coche de segovia y se aparca muy bien
