Great room for a couples getaway!

The hotel was clean. Amazing view of the bay. The wind was really high and made a lot of noise due to the design of the hotel, but you can't control nature. Another thing was on our second day we came back to our room after lunch out. Neither of our room keys worked and we were locked out. Thankfully it was mid day and the office was open (closes at 10pm). They got us new keys and no issues after that. Overall would highly recommend.

I do not view this property as a "Penthouse" as it is described. It is only a penthouse in the fact that it is on the third floor of a walk up. The elevator was not available for this unit. When we checked in and got to our room the room temperature was 58 degrees. We dropped our luggage, turned the heat up and left to stay warm in the car. (It was 20 degrees outside) The patio door leaked badly. We found some newspaper to shove in the void where the cold air was coming in. The hotel is in bad need of a remodel. It clearly shows it's age. We will not be back. On the other hand, it was well outfitted with pans and Utensils and glass wear. Was disappointed there were only plastic champagne flutes. I bought a glass wine glass at the dollar store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did let them know about the complaints we had.

Disgusting Jetted tub

We stayed 3 nights from the 30th and checked out January 2nd. We tried to use the jetted tub in our room the first 2 nights however, every time we filled it up there would be hair and dark chunks along with fuzzies floating. So I drained it, wiped the whole tub out 3 different times and it still continued to do it. I finally realized it was the filter so we unscrewed it and found that it was absolutely disgusting. Imagine people's bodily fluids and what not trapped in there along with ALL TYPES OF HAIR! Upon further cleaning I realized there was still scum stuck to the top in several spots as well.

Perfect Place for Winter Weekend Get Away

Great place with incredible water views. Large room with plenty of space to spread out. Great lighting in the bathroom area, nice to have a water closet as well. Definitely a 5 star stay, only downside was the HVAC unit kicked on every 5-15 minutes during the night, but overall excellent stay with great value for the money!

Nice room but bot cleaned well

A deeper cleaning of the room would have been nice. There was food splattered on walls, our feet were black from the floor not being moped properly and the curtains and chairs were so stained up it looked like it’s never been cleaned.

Definitely a beautiful view of the bay/ lake! Convenient location for stores and gas stations and just an overall beautiful place to stay! Would highly recommend and I would for sure stay there again! Staff was amazing all weekend as well!

Nice hotel

Overall this is a nice hotel. Great view of beach and the bay from our balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room's tv wouldn't work, couldn't connect to its satellite, so that was a little frustrating. Staff tried to fix it twice but still no luck. Room was nice and spacious. One area near the bed needing moping, but otherwise a clean room. We would stay here again.
