Very helpful guy but airconditioner let us down

We just stayed for one night to break up our jouney to Lake Garda from Croatia and does not have much thought of the place, just functional. What i can remember is that the dark corridor was inconvenient and the airconditioner wasn't really working properly on a hot night. But the onwer was very kind and helpful in the morning

Nice old apartment

Neat room in an old apartment. The entrance door is massive. We had a code to get in. Clean comfortable room,nice breakfast with wonderful coffee. Lovely host

Wonderful stay in Trieste

Trieste is a wonderful city. The hotel is near the train station and very convenient to the city center. A nice simple breakfast in the morning with good coffee. I never heard any noise at night.

Short stay in Trieste

Stayed 1 night only on a longer trip. Accommodation is very convenient for coach and train stations. Area is a little dark at night but safe. It is not very well signed in my view.

Noisy!noisy! noisy!

This B&B does not live up the reviews it had. In terms of cleanliness it was spotless. However, the room we were given was immediately to the left of the main door into the B&B so that guests returning to their rooms at Midnight and the early hours of the morning woke us up opening and closing the doors . All the floors creaked so when these late night guests went into their room which was next to us we could hear their footsteps and talking as though they were in the room with us. They also seemed to be moving furniture as well as there was a lot of scraping on the floors. Added to that the street was noisy as well the outer windows didn't close properly so the main window didn't shut the noise out effectively. The blackout blind was ineffective and let loads of light in as well. We eventually managed to get to sleep after being awaked only to be woken again at 6 am by the owner coming in to get the breakfast ready. The breakfast room also happened to be opposite to our door so now sleep was totally impossible. Breakfast was very poor. Very little choice, mostly pre packaged stuff and no fruit! The owner also makes the coffee and tea which would be fine if they knew how you liked it. My tea was weak and cold, I was not offered a second cup either. All in all it was a terrible experience - so bad we moved out to another place and forfeited a night that we paid for already.

Downtown charm

Our trip to Trieste went very well. The B&B is in walking distance to the main attractions. There is no parking included. A bit tough to find right around the corner. The hosts are very kind and the breakfast is very good.

Charming B&B very close to the train station

This is a lovely little B&B tastefully decorated with big rooms with high ceilings. The breakfast is simple but nice and the chocolate croissants where divine ! The hosts are very friendly and helpful, I couldn't recommend this place more.

Affitta camere Iris è una sistemazione davvero ottima. La stanza è molto grande pulitissima e vicinissima al centro. La colazione abbondante ed il proprietario da ottimi consigli per visitare Trieste. Tutto perfetto....da consigliare assolutamente.

Es un edificio antiguo, el alojamiento es normal, muy bien atendido, el desayuno no es tan bueno, dado que el fiambre es grasoso y los cornetos no son frescos, son recalentados. Está muy bien ubicado, tanto dela estación de trenes y buses, como de los lugares que se deben visitar.

Tolle zentrale Unterkunft mit super Gastgeber

Wir waren als Familie für eine Nacht in Triest und fanden die Unterkunft super. Sehr zentral gelegen, im Vorfeld gab es nach Nachfrage schon tolle Informationen zu Parkmöglichkeiten etc. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten richtig gut. Morgens gibt es ein klassisches italienisches Frühstück. Am besten war der Gastgeber, der uns am Morgen mit zahlreichen Informationen zu Triest versorgt hat und uns sehr viel über die Geschichte und die aktuelle Lage erzählt hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)
