A good stop off before our cruise. Reception were very good at all times. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was compact, clean and modern, with a fridge and hairdryer. The hotel was very convenient for walking to some of the many beautiful piazzas and we spent a lovely few hours in one of their coffee houses. My only caution would be if you have mobility issues this could be challenging as, although the hotel has a lift you still need to be able to manage a short flight of stairs, whichever floor you are on. This is due to the design of the property and I don't think it is avoidable.

My first stay in Trieste and I want to return, I would definitely book here again, hotel has excellent reception staff, very good beds, fabulous power showers and very good continental breakfast it’s only a shame there’s no outdoor space to relax

I was boarding Cunard QV in Trieste, had a single room with a 3/4 bed, good range for breakfast AC was effective and quiet, and within walking distance of the ship (I had a big case, suit carrier and a cabin bag) mostly on the level. I’d definitely use it again.

Citta di Parenzo have an awesome and wonderful staff from when we checked in, breakfast dine-in and housekeeping. For sure, we will come back and stay at this hotel. It is located in a very convenient place where you can visit the ruins and the Basilica Santa Maggiore. It is also close to different dining places and stores to shop around. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Trieste Italy. Kudos to staff at the reception area who readily assist us when we need it. Trieste is a one of the beautiful places in Italy.

A hidden gem. The outside looks modest, however the room was very nice and comfortable. Be ready to do either one flight of stairs up or down to your floor if using the lift. It is in quiet area away from the noise of traffic. Easy walk to Città Vecia and Piazza Unita. The staff was professional, helpful and courteous.
