The splendour of Mother Nature is yours to discover in numerous places around Trois-Bassins. Just 40 kilometres away, Piton de la Fournaise is a superb place to begin. Piton des Neiges sits 16 kilometres away and is another pleasant spot for some downtime.

Work on your photography skills at Le Maido and the Conservatoire Botanique National de Mascarin. You're bound to discover some perfect subjects to wake up your inner artist!

Expand your horizons and see what's happening in Saint-Leu, 6 kilometres to the south. Many visitors come here for the Musée Stella Matutina and Kélonia. Alternatively, Saint-Paul is 10 kilometres to the northwest of Trois-Bassins. Stop at this place for convenient access to the Garden of Eden and Aquarium de la Réunion.

Sitting 20 kilometres to the east, Hell-Bourg is a destination that has plenty to offer. Le Voile de la Mariee, Le Trou de Fer and Thermal Bath Ruins are close at hand. That said, Cascade du Voile de la Mariée and Maison Folio may be more your thing.
