We got booked into a view with a gorgeous view of the harbour, could see the Artic Cathedral and the Tromso Bridge. The hotel is probably in the best location in town, our Northern Lights tour picked up from right outside, food, shopping, grocery stores all walkable. But the room itself was a bit odd, I've never been in a hotel where there was no phone to call the front desk! My shower soap dispenser was broken and I put in requests manually to the front desk and again the next morning to housekeeping who I bumped into in the hall in the morning, but it was never replaced. I had to unscrew the pump from the handsoap dispenser and use that.

Hotel is average, it needs refurb. The location is good. There are lots of conferences taking place so you battle to find a place to sit and eat. Be aware check in time is only 16h00. We paid for sea View room but it is only partially sea-view and you look right into everyone else's room. Some staff were really helpful while others were not, so luck of the draw.

The hotel is located in a great area, facing o fjord and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. My room was very spacious and clean. The shower was a little difficult to maneuver and the door didn’t close easily. The breakfast was wonderful and free!

Everything is mediocre but no much choices in Tromso town center unfortunately. The building and interiors are quite out-dated different from the photos online by the hotel and even by the travellers. Nonetheless, the hotel got the best view of the town.

This hotel sits on a pier in the Trømsø harbor and has beautiful views, a good breakfast, helpful staff, and convenient proximity to restaurants, shopping, and fjord cruise departure points.
