A spacious two-floor apartment in a rustic riverfront mansion. Open kitchen and dining room with a bathroom on the first floor, two nice bedrooms on the second, accompanied by a large living room and another bathroom. The third bedroom —thebtop floor balcony bedroom — offers a stunning view of Hudson river.
The deck on the ground floor opens up to a large backyard with a trampoline and two picnic tables. Our guests can enjoy the most beautiful river sunsets and even make a fire by the water!
The space
This house is 200 years old this year! Herman Melville lived up the street, literally. Three blocks up. Yet the renovation makes it modern and comfortable — ample kitchen gadgets and multiple TVs with streaming, while still enjoying original exposed beams, peace and quiet and campfires and canoeing on the river the way the Iroquois and the early settlers did it.
Guest access
You can access the two bedroom upstairs (king bedroom and another with a balcony). Please don't use the garage and basement.
