Fantastic stay. I was in the main building, which was very convenient for breakfast and dinner (and bar). Location can't be beaten; you can walk from the hotel directly to the Taughannock Falls. Also, they provided a list of places to go and things to do (hiking, dining, wine tasting, etc.) which was extremely helpful.

Beautiful hotel and amazing location. We had an issue with the heater randomly kicking in during the middle of a hot summer night, driving the room temperature up to 85 degrees. We were given a 10% discount for the inconvenience. The hotel was sold out, so moving us was not an option. I'm sure we'll go back, but we'll pay for a better room next time.

Lovely room however balcony was very dirty, uncleaned. tub drain would not close for a bath. Also got chilly at night. Heat would not come on at all. Assume the heat was turned off.

We recently stayed for an impromptu anniversary date and fell in love with this historic inn. When we travel we try to find places just like this and this one is probably one of the most stunning pieces of history, lovingly maintained in its original glory we’ve ever stayed at — every detail felt like a beautiful step back in time. The location is unbeatable and we ended up staying right at the inn instead of our original plans to explore the area. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the outdoor dining and fire pit seating areas kept us there for drinks, dinner, and after dinner drinks! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was warm and helpful. We hope to make this a yearly tradition and maybe even stay in one of the rooms that are currently being added!

Delightful gardens

Beautiful Victorian inn with delightful gardens and lake view. Well done breakfast buffet. Only issue was the tight shower that was hard to maneuver inside for any size person.
