Had I known about the Narcotics Anonymous convention happening during our stay we would have picked a different hotel. Lots of drug use happening on the property. Elevator didn’t work. Extra fees for everything.

Clean room, but dead bolt didn’t work, toilet flashed all night, door knob to restroom broken. Called at 9pm to let front door know, stated they would be right up. Checked out the next morning still waiting for them to go.

It felt very safe. They were having elevator probing only had one that worked properly. You could take the stairs but it only went outside not floor to floor. Also when I booked I didn’t realize that there was a nightly parking fee.

Let me first say, the staff of great at this hotel. It’s not their fault that the hotel is in such poor condition. There was one working elevator during U of A move in week. The room doors do not Close all the way (require significant pulling to close properly, making all types of noise), and the room cleaners left them open 2 days in a row (with my laptop and all personal items in room). The room cleaners do not clean your room until 6pm at night but the day you are supposed to check out, they just enter the room 2 secs after knocking at 8:30am. The hotel front desk punishes you if you order off Expedia. They would not let us check in, claiming there were no clean rooms after they referenced that we booked on Expedia. But then right in front of us, preceded to Let 3 other customers check in. They have a huge parking lot but charge you $15 per night for parking. They do not have free coffee in lobby but offer a Starbucks in the lobby ( that opens at 6am). Overall, this property is FAR from the Hilton standard that I have come to know. I was very disappointed and will not stay here again.

Dirty and unkempt!!!
Our room was not dirty!! The shower floor was dirty, and the counter top was filthy. The sink and shower were so slow they drain that you couldn’t let the water stay on for very long until they were going to over flow. The hallway floors were dirty and not vacuumed. One of the only 2 elevators was out of order. Then to top it off, I had a roach appear in my shower with me in the morning. We couldn’t wait that get out of there. We originally booked thinking we would wake up and enjoy a nice breakfast in the restaurant but after experiencing all of this we knew we didn’t want to risk it. Such a disappointment!! We booked Hilton because of the quality we’d experienced in previous stays around the country. Never again.

Over-rated hotel
Only one elevator for a seven-story building, exit stairs that only open to the outside ground floor causing you to walk around the entire building to get back in, standing water on the landings in the stairwells causing unsafe, slippery conditions on the steel stairs, common area restrooms out of order, insufficient restaurant staff, lack of food for the advertised morning "buffet breakfast", facility only accepting credit cards or room charges instead of cash for purchases.

Can't say I enjoyed my stay, indeed it was torture!!-one elevator broken for days was brutal on guests, 85 degrees in common area on floors 6 & 70 NO A/C, ice machines broken on many floors, TV does not show program information-how come?, pool area OK, but tired, numerous areas of hotel interior are knicked, scuffed and dirty, breakfast for $20 was awful fat sausages, dried potatoes, fat bacon, dry eggs. As I understand the story here the current manager is "cheap" and lazy and the hotel looks it. WE WILL NEVER, EVER STAY HERE AGAIN--for reference we were here in early 2023 and 2024 and it's stunning the fall from grace of this Hilton
