I had prepaid for a room, and checked in at midnight. They scanned my card to put a $100 hold on it (for potential damage I assume). At 1:30am I get a call saying the card (which showed approved) needed to be scanned again. I said "I'll come by in the AM. I'm staying 3 nights". He didn't like that but finally agreed. 7:05AM..... another call to bring my card in. Come on man. I'll come by about 8:30am. Every night I had to get a new key. The key was only good for one day at a time. I won't be back.

Unfortunately, this La Quinta (unlike others we use) has no elevator. We were booked into a room on the 2nd floor, but needed accessibility. The only room available was on the back side, blocked from exit. Only working ice machine was also a long walk. Not up to usual standards of the brand!

It was an older property, but the rooms were modern. The bed was nice. I had problems with two of the lamps not working, and the water temp wouldn't regulate in my shower. I liked that my room had a balcony.

Dirty bed- no rectification
The bedding had not been changed. Tried to be very polite in telling them and asked for some level of a refund on my $268 stay, not even all of it. I was met with attitude from the head house keeper, who pretty much called me a liar and in the end was told I was wrong (there was an earring in between my sheets that wasn’t mine) and they were going to do NOTHING to fix the issue. I didn’t even complain about the garbage behind the chair. One of which was part of a straw- we all know what those are used for- I just was not ok with sleeping in a dirty bed. The owner herself said absolutely no dis out. Terrible service.

A little noisy in the eve
There were quite a lot of people that hung around the parking lot talking until midnight, sometimes later on the Cane’s side. Specifically, a pickup with a trailer attached and others each night. The A/C was loud enough that it did not keep me awake though plus I sleep pretty hard. The bathroom had mildew in the shower that was very strong smelling but I had bought Clorox cleanup before I even got there and once I sprayed and came back later in the eve, I never noticed again during my 7 day stay. Housekeeping kept the room very clean on the days I needed them and the rest of the staff was very nice and friendly.
