My Place is great!
Absolutely awesome. Me and my gf had a great night. In the morning I used the patio grill and cooked us NY Strip steaks for breakfast. Great and relaxing hotel. New condition.

NICE for the PRICE
The hotel is nice, especially for the price. Close to countless restaurants, department stores and entertainment. Don't expect a resort stay for 80.00 dollars a night. Staff was nice and tried really hard, except one young lady had an attitude everytime we interacted. She must be the one others complained about in their reviews. Haha. I would stay here again.

We liked the cozy size of the hotel and convenience to shopping and family. The staff was great ! We did not like the lack of breakfast included in the cost of our stay. There was the convenience of a kitchenette, but the lack of kitchenware to use. As stated, in my initial review, the cooking smell was awful when we arrived.

When we got there the front desk staff told us our double queen room had been given to someone else. I had called earlier in the day to confirm and was told all was good. We were offered a one queen bed room. The front desk staff Angel was pleasant and I knew it wasn't her fault. She told me I could call the manager Major Johnson, so I did. When I explained that I had reserved a two bed room and that it was not available, he said. "What do you want me to do about it? I am not at the property." I was taken aback by how rude he was. I suggested since I was paying for a two bed room and only got a one bed, that I get some money back. He stated that he couldn't do that. Then he said "how do I even know you booked a two bed room?" I suggested he call his front desk attendant as I had just checked into room 319. I asked for the name of his manager because I did not like how rude he was being. I had really been trying to be nice, but hit my limit. He told me he did not have a boss and he was the only boss. I was shocked at his lack of help for a customer and at his rudeness. When I told him I was just with a male friend and did not feel comfortable sleeping in the same bed, he finally offered me another single room. That was totally acceptable, it just could have been accomplished without such a poor attitude from him.

Although the hotel is conveniently located, clean & has friendly staff, the sound-proofing is somewhat lacking. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing, down to the details of their conversation. I'm not sure why it would be worse here than other places. Getting this fixed would've given them a 5*.

Place is clean, rooms are clean and comfortable. Though the area has shops and restaurants nearby, it feels alone and in a not so nice area. But that’s probably just because it’s towards the end of a street with nothing else around it. It is however clean, free coffee in the lobby and staff is very friendly. Would consider coming again.
