Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this Microtel. Check-in was quick and efficient. We were given a handicap room which was spacious and clean. Breakfast was acceptable. The only hot foods were sausage links and the automated pancake machine. The standard offering of cereals, muffins, and yogurt were also available.
A couple things about the room we observed. For a handicap accessible room, the shower head (handheld sprayer) was mounted at a height that anyone in a wheelchair could never reach it. The tile work in and around the shower was not of the highest quality installation. Grout joints in the shower walls were not full creating pockets for mold to form. The mini fridge offered a moaning sound the entire time we were in the room. Not completely offensive, but noticeable.
As an overnight stop on our trip home, we would stay in this hotel the next time we are traveling through the area.
