Excellent experience. Our preferred pool was the Edgewater. Ricky was our bartender who anticipated our drink orders and brought them to us. There are multiple events per day and with Aldo as the master of ceremonies, you are in for a good time. Aldo answered all of our questions and made several recommendations. That man deserves a raise. The beach has the best view and the water felt amazing. The resort is near a strip in Tulum with multiple bars and clubs as well as taco stands.

I recently stayed at Secrets Tulum, and it turned out to be the most disastrous resort experience I’ve ever had. On the very first night, I received an electric shock because the cables behind the lamp’s wall plate weren’t insulated. Although they sent an engineer to fix the problem, the harm was already done—I was deeply unsettled by the incident. The concierge, Fernando, attempted to provide a few concessions, such as a hydrotherapy spa session and a romantic breakfast for my girlfriend and me. However, when we called the next day to confirm our spa appointment, our names weren’t even on the list—apparently, nobody had informed the spa staff. To make matters worse, the promised romantic breakfast was never delivered. We also celebrated New Year’s Eve there and paid $250 for a table with champagne, but when the night came, our table had already been given to someone else. It took them over 45 minutes to locate an alternative table, and we ended up far from the preferred section we had originally paid for. In addition to these issues, the customer service was appalling. The wait times at the restaurants averaged between 45 and 60 minutes, which was especially infuriating considering this is supposed to be a Secrets property. After experiencing all these problems, I can safely say I absolutely would not recommend Secrets Tulum.

The property is very large. The layout can get confusing trying to find restaurants and pools and bars. The room itself was excellent. Large bathroom/shower area, great views. We were never advised of the app, to know what was open for food choices and times of availability and menus and such, that would have been nice to have been told at check-in (especially since we stayed at preferred tower). The beach club was a nice area as well. Nice to be able to take the shuttle back and forth and get some beach time. May look at staying at that end next time. Overall, a nice stay for a couple of nights. Always enjoy Secrets and the group of hotels they belong to.

While the property was nice all of the pools were ice cold, all the restaurants had horrible food, and all of the cocktail were not great - no craft cocktails Or elevated wines/craft beers available even to premium guests. Would not go back.

AVOID at all cost, the staff was rude. My cousing also got hurt while using their transportation and instead of bringing medical assistance, they wanted him to sign a waiver stating that the resort was not responsible for anything. Terrible experience 0/10

It was very unfortunate experience. I come to Mexico every year, and I have to say this trip was the worst.the staff looked overwhelmed and overworked, therefore not willing to help. We had a nice room, but even that was ruined after we had big amount of cash stolen on a New years night, and the security could care less to help you. Definitely would not come back and don’t recommend anyone else going.

The rooms were damp and smelled mildew. Was preferred status, however, was not shared all of the preferred amenities. Finding your way around the property was problematic. No map was provided. The staff didn't seem like they were overly happy to have jobs. The traveling back-and-forth to the beach was challenging given the traffic. The resort can't do anything about that, need to be very clear about the transport back-and-forth being time consuming.
