The hotel is beautiful, great pool and the lobby is gorgeous. However, we were given an “upgrade” which meant there was no aircon in the bedroom and TV in the bedroom didn’t work.

Fantastic facilities; however, we stayed for 6 nights and didn’t have housekeeping through once, had a fault with the spa bath that we informed them of on the second day and no one came to fix it, and our check in receptionist didn’t explain anything to us other than where our room was - she didn’t explain the parking, wi-fi or hotel facilities. That was quite disappointing. Beautiful hotel and we have stayed with Mantra before, but we felt that we were not given the full Mantra experience.

We booked a one bedroom spa suite for a weekend. First room was perfectly laid out, clean etc but unfortunately our loo wasn’t working. We notified staff who sent a maintenance person and when it couldn’t be quickly fixed, moved us to another similar suite. Again clean, well maintained, spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely weekend exploring the area and Byron Bay, it was a joy to come back to a spa bath after a day of sightseeing, sun and sand. Dining options for vegans were limited but what we did have was outstanding (tacos at the Mexican restaurant and stir fries at the Thai). Every staff member we encountered was friendly, polite and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

just needs a rennovation, lots of rust, the bikes on the expedia page are nothing like that, all just rusted junk! gym is terrible, like something from the 70's, is it really that much of an ask to buy a rack of free weights and a decent bench? gym also had a terrible leak in the roof! staff not very accomodating at all. Was told i couldnt buy a coffee from the bar as the conference group would not like it! on arrival cheeky young lady behind the reception not at all helpful in trying to sort a guest out who had been travelling 2 days with a room. "Check in is 2pm, she kept saying!" yeah i understand, but i asking if you have a room now for me please!

The resort is made up of several interconnected building spread across the property. Our one bedroom spa suite was clean and well set out. Basic facilities in the kitchen. Loved the Urban Skincare Co toiletries in the ensuite. Bed was comfortable. Foxtel in the lounge but only standard Free to Air tv in the bedroom. Only negative was that the bar shuts daily at 4pm. Pre dinner drinks by the pool would have been perfect but not to be unless you byo.
