The staff at Bloom Boutique was very professional, friendly and helpful and added to our stay. The Haveli itself had alot of nice period touches but the rooms are very small, very basic and a little rundown. Once you leave the hallway you feel like you are in a different hotel. We were overlooking the street so it was extremely loud. The breakfast area was not very nice and the food was pretty basic. Breakfast isn't served in the beautiful dining area shown in the photos. The location is convenient to the historic area but given the narrow roads and chaotic traffic it's not a great walk. We took a tuk tuk which worked well. Check-in is complicated because every person has to register with their phone. It feels a little corporate with the Bloom signs in the lobby, yellow pillows, etc. The property has potential and maybe will improve over time.

ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL .... THATS THE MAIN ISSUE, ELSE EVERY THING IS GOOD ....
Bathrooms could be better maintained and cleaner. Otherwise everything else was okay. And the staff was excellent, the people working there are fantastic! And extremely friendly and helpful.
Welcoming and hospitable staff, comfortable room, decent location. Parts of the hotel are under renovation but that did not impact us personally in our room. The lake view is overstated but the rooftop restaurant has a nice vista. About a 10-15 minute walk or a short cab/rickshaw to the centre of town.
Hotels description is very deceptive on line. It’s no where near lake pichola. You have to go to the roof top to look at the view. Property was dirty and disrepair. Location was in a very run down area with bad stench. Choice of food at breakfast was also very limited.

Beautiful and artistic decorations throughout the hotel. The location is great and has the potential to be a top rated hotel. The staff very efficient and friendly particularly at the reception area. Good food however they need to finish the refurbishment to make it a great small hotel.
The hotel is very beautiful from inside as it is a heritage property (Haveli) - the staff is very friendly right from the reception to the room service to the restaurant. The roof-top restaurant is very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean and the decorations inside the hotel and room are very tasteful.
Only downside is that the hotel is on the street so there is some road noise.
Overall, a very good hotel to stay and a very friendly and helpful staff.
Rude staff. Not so great service. Rooms are OK OK. You will find plenty of better hotels in the area for the same or lower price for the experience you get here.
Where should I start from...
I reached Udaipur in the morning and didn't get an early check-in which I'd mentioned while booking. Had to wait for couple of hours to get my room. By the time I was waiting for my room I explored the property as there was nothing to do at this hour. And, WOW! They have the prettiest terrace sit-out from where I saw the lake and the sunrise. One of the most beautiful moments <3 I clicked most beautiful pictures of the terrace and the sunrise. So, if you book this hotel do spend one of your mornings here and let your heart melt in the warm rays of the sun.
I went down in the lobby and checkout those colored glass windows and some Rajasthani artwork spread across here. There is a small area just next to the reception desk which I loved as well. So pretty everything is!
The restaurant is a beauty as well. Can't say much about the food as I did not get a chance to go and try something; the city kept me occupied :)
Oh btw, I was given a room upgrade for the delayed check-in. Ravi- the Front desk manager is too humble. He made sure my stay here was a good experience. The entire morning and evening staff was very friendly and all helped me to get the most out of my first solo trip to Rajasthan.
Room that I got was big enough and the bathroom was very spacious. I loved the ancient look of the rooms with Rajasthani feel to it. Overall, I would give it 10/10 just for the Staff and the gorgeous terrace!
The hotel is very beautify, good for take photo, but the hot water is not always working and the bed is not comfortable.
Breakfast choice is not too much and food is not bag, but the restaurant is very beautify.
The hotel looked traditional and was just like the photos. Our room was on the 2nd floor, nice and large but over looking the noisy road. We immediately asked to move rooms but the alternative was tiny and not as nice.
This is our 4th hotel in India and definitely the cleanest- no hair, no marks on the sheet, no water filling up around your feet in the shower.
The bathroom was nice and the shower powerful and hot.
Room could do with a fridge. Found breakfast options quite limiting but nice. We never saw the breakfast food being topped up - it seemed if it ran out that was it, and fortunately we always ate before it ran out. Breakfast served on the rooftop with lovely lake view. They could do with chairs to sit and relax in on the rooftop to make the most of the space besides from eating there. Had nice breakout spaces around the hotel to sit down. 10minute walk to restaurants. Wi-Fi temperamental.
I would recommend and stay again.

Value-for-money boutique just outside Old City
The old Brahmpole Haveli recently underwent a facelift and was taken over by hotel management group bloom Boutique. The facade and interiors are going thru a facelift but the furniture are still pretty old. There is a small dining area for the breakfast buffet (limited selection and mostly Indian), lunch and dinner (vegetarian options only but very delicious) and the rooftop patio is only partially usable. “Lake View” is not exactly a panoramic unobstructed view of Lake Pichola but no biggie. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of the Old City but that’s okay, you don’t want too much of the action (honking, traffic, crowds) to be screaming at your face. The rooms are reasonably clean and comfortable, I just had a slight issue with stains caked into the tiles and gaps. Service was excellent though.
