A friend and I shared a private room. It was a decent-sized room, with private bathroom (and access to the shared shower/toilet had we both needed the facilities at the same time). Very easy to get to from the station by bus, lots of places to eat nearby, a supermarket nearby (Jumbo), and (if it's not a heatwave!) within walking distance of everywhere in the town centre.
The hostel kitchen is well-equipped. Facilities are generally solid but a bit tired. Our room was in the roof, and really could have done with more opening windows and/or a fan as it was boiling, even on the relatively cool days.
The hostel is on the first and second floors above a restaurant. There is no lift at the hostel, and the staircases have very narrow steps, and turns (in common with most Dutch properties I believe to be fair)! We visited after a camping trip, so had a lot of kit with us, and getting up/down the stairs with our stuff was scary! I wouldn't advise staying here if you know you'll have large bags with you.
