Overall your basic business hotel in Japan. Small rooms and no frills. I did hear that the breakfast buffet is worth the price. Not my first choice of hotels in Utsunomiya but in a pinch it will do.

Very nice hotel!
Overall I'm very happy with the hotel. I will concede that it does seem like an older property, so some parts of it do seem a bit old-fashioned. But everything is very well maintained and works well.

Convenient location and friendly staff
Stayed here for three weeks -- the staff was friendly and the room quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location being nearby the main station, and with a supermarket + Daiso only two blocks away. Two blocks in a different direction is a large local park.

Nice hotel close to Utsunomiya station & IZAKAYA
Although the check in time is too late in night, the hotel staff can be support. Close to Utsunomiya station and delicious IZAKAYA by walking.

The breakfast, a buffet, was very tasty and comfortable. It was helpful that there are a lot of plugs in the room. The toothbrush was too small to brush my teeth easily and sufficiently. Bath room was cramped to take a shower.

Small room, relatively close to the station
The bathtub width in the room is quite narrow so when having a shower your arms will touch the curtain and the wall. The price is cheap so if you only need somewhere to stay for a night and on a tight budget this place is OK.

Good value other than HORRIBLE bed
This is a budget business hotel, so expectations were not high. Room was relatively clean, but non-smoking room wasn't available. The breakfast area is TINY and only holds a few people. Our room included breakfast but we didn't have either day we were there as the breakfast area was always too full for 2 more people. Real problem is that the bed was miserable. I could actually feel individual springs through the top which stab you all night long. Did NOT get an acceptable sleep and I can't recommend this hotel for that reason.
