Great hotel in a great location. The room was spacious and clean as was the reception area. We were able to park right in front -free street parking. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, they gave us directions to the center of town which was an easy 15 minute walk and has lots of shops, restaurants etc. The area around the hotel is nice and there Is a cafe/bar/restaurant right next door as well as at the hotel.

Wonderful pet friendly hotel stayed in June and it was great But the ac was turned off because it’s October the weather outside was 90c and our room with 2 dogs was 86c overnight making it very difficult to sleep, we asked them to turn the ac on but they declined, very disappointed

Worth a stay
Very nice stay, location was just right for us, a ten minute walk over the river and lovely scenary, to get into the centre. A couple of good bars next door, the tapas was lovely. Hotel was just right for a business or leisure trip

Overnight to Portugal - comfortable stay with a do
Area is not downtown but was very easy for a overnight to Portugal - there are two cafeterias right next to the hotel that close late. Parking outside also quite easy. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Dog friendly !

Great dog friendly hotel
This dog friendly hotel is a regular overnight stop on our travels from the French/ Spanish ferry ports on our way to Portugal. Primarily a business hotel, It’s situated in a residential area which is easy to drive to and 15 mins walk through a riverside park to the old town. Parking is either underground and secure for a charge or free at the roadside right outside the hotel. The hotel rooms are well decorated and comfortable, though a little small if like us you’re travelling with two dogs. The breakfast whilst a little pricey is above average with an excellent choice of continental dishes and hot food to order. The immediate area provides a choice of bars, a supermarket and importantly for us a vet and plenty of green area for those late night/early morning doggy visits.
