Should have paid the extra money to stay at Sandman. Got stuck for an extra night in the area, as I was getting work done to my truck… the place offered to pay for my hotel, so Travelodge was completely covered… I should have paid an extra $30 to stay at The Sandman though… this place lacked character and comfort. The bed was uncomfortable, and everything was outdated. Even the outlets had trouble supporting a charger. Would NOT go back.

Biggest issue I had was there was no duvet. Just a thin fleece blanket on the bed! Never have stayed a hotel/motel where there was no duvet. Needless to say I had a very bad night of sleep.

Most disappointed front desk service
Booked 1 queen size bed online. Check in went to the room and saw 1 double size bed. I called the front desk, phone was broken so went downstairs to let them know I paid for a queen but got a double. Front desk person said all the queens are doubles at their place (suspicious). I mention that is false adverting and can’t be true because on line you can book for either bed, so why offer a choice of double, queen or king if there was only 2 true sizes? Would not offer to change rooms for me so 2 adults slept on a double bed.
