Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar – Dorado Stayed: August 8–15 I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar! The 1-bedroom studio was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchenette was well stocked with clean pots, utensils, and everything needed to prepare meals. We were lucky to get a first-level room, which I loved — I could enjoy my morning coffee on the balcony and walk right out to the pool for a swim. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the double door for added security and the convenience of a washer and dryer in the unit. The beach on the property is beautiful, but you can’t really swim in it (swim at your own risk). Luckily, there are a couple of great beaches nearby for swimming. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and I would definitely come back again!

It's a very safe property, and the staff is very friendly. We love the beach and the fact that it's private to guests only. The pool is very nice, and most restaurant staff were very friendly.

The stuff are in some point careless they gave us keys with the wrong floor we went to a room occupied, the door next day don’t work properly land we could not get in. They had to send a staff to fix the lock. The room is very hot and the AC control is set to 68 degrees. The fan overhead has to be in full blast and the person sleeping furthest from the fan gets no air circulation. The restaurant take forever to bring food, but it is very good. Waited over an hour for lunch and were told they made a mistake on orders. Beach there is very nice as well as the pools.
