The property was very nice but the lobby doors were in very very bad shape. We couldn’t find a place to clean our feet to go into the hotel from the beach. One of the rooms was not ready but they did make it up to us which was extremely nice. The restaurant was good but they don’t have any indoor area. So it started raining and we really didn’t have anywhere to go sit. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful landscaping. The rooms were beautiful.

This is what a vacation feels like
For our first family trip to PR, we were very pleased from the moment we walked in to check in to the moment we checked out. Nancy at the counter was absolutely AMAZING! She told us everything we needed to know about our stay, gave us recommendations for places to visit, took her time to explain everything without being rushed. The condo room was spectacular from cleanliness to spacious, to beautiful view of the pool/beach. The beach is literally in the backyard and is very private. Feels like you’re on a private island. The resort has a kiddy area, 24 hour gym, big family pool from 3ft-6ft, hot tub, etc. Resort has games such as volleyball, bingo, movie night, etc. The cleaning ladies were very nice and attentive. The way we were treated and our conversations made us feel like home. I would highly recommend!

The property is super clean and well staffed. The amenities in the room like the dishwasher, washer/dryer come in handy. Security was super friendly. Pools and Jacuzzi were great, and having private access to the beach was a plus.

Simple Things Could have made it better
When we arrived it was a storm happening. It was difficult to check in. Then our room didn’t have power or internet. That means we didn’t have working lights or AC. The front desk was unfriendly and wound only give one little lantern per room. Thankfully in the morning the power came back on and the hotel refunded the first night charge. I was extremely disappointed that we were not able to do anything the first day then on our last day I requested a late check out and they would only accommodate on of my rooms until 12pm which wasn’t helpful with a evening flight. Check out was at 10am which is the earliest checkout I’ve ever heard of. I can’t believe after what we experienced the first day that they couldn’t accommodate us to checkout at 1pm, considering check-in is in the evening and wouldn’t be affected. The late check out issue was the deal breaker that got them 3 stars. On the positive note, our room was beautiful, there were a few staff members that stood out and went above and beyond: Rudy was the first friendly person we came in contact with he worked at the gate and told us about places on the island that we asked about. Rodney was at the front desk on our second day and he was the only friendly person that we encountered at front desk. He was so helpful, if it wasn’t for him explaining so much to us I think our trip would not have turned out as amazing as it was. Then Marie our maid was great and had so much patience we us, teaching us how to operate the appliances

This was a quaint little resort. When you drive up the building looks a little worn, but when you get to the lobby and beyond, everything is 1st rate. The room was a little tight for 4 people but everything was clean and modern. The property was very nice. Great pool and the beach was right there. The restaurant on the property was a little expensive, but the food was delicious. There were pleanty of great food options available close by the property. All the staff was amazing. I would definitely take my family back here.

Very disappointing
Barely a 3 star hotel. I was looking for a beachfront hotel to stay on a short trip to Puerto Rico and found the Hyatt through a few sites. The photos looked nice, reviews were favorable so I thought lets give it a shot. Wrong move. First of all, the hotel is nowhere near anything so you will be driving far for food, fun, and festivities. It would not have been a problem if the Hotel had the amenities as advertised, but the only restaurant was a Pool bar. The hotel appearance was old and disheveled and not of the Hyatt quality that I was expecting. The room may have been the only redeeming quality of the hotel. The room was modern and very clean, however the mattress on the bed was quite lumpy and uncomfortable. Many reviews complained about construction noise from the property next door, even the Hyatt website mentioned it, however we heard no construction noise. What we did hear was door slamming all night, noises from the AC, and the lawn maintenance blowing leaves. So it was loud without any construction. The beach unfortunately was too rough and apparently is a high ripcurrent area so it is not really conducive for swimming. The pool was a large unheated pool not typical for a resort of this caliber. In summary a very disappointing stay.

Extremely clean and up-to-date. Beautiful ground well-maintained. Personal safety was appreciated. But above all the staff without exception enthusiastically helpful and friendly. I have one complete was the mattress. It's definitely seen its best days. I Ended up sleeping on the couch because the bed was so uncomfortable. It depressed at the slightest weight and had no support at all.

"Could Be a Great Hotel, But Falls Short" We were hoping for a relaxing stay by a beautiful beach. The beach is indeed stunning, and the pool is nice, with comfortable rooms and good amenities. However, if you're expecting to enjoy a good meal by the pool or anywhere else in the hotel, you'll be disappointed. Oddly, the hotel only has a small kiosk with limited seating at the bar and a few tables, exposed to either direct sunlight or rain. With just four umbrellas, shade is scarce. There’s nowhere else to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner comfortably. The two staff members at this snack area work hard to serve the many guests, but it feels as if this facility isn’t even part of the hotel. The high prices of the rooms don't match the service provided. It feels like the hotel is cutting corners while charging premium rates. (not every day the rooms are cleaned). On the bright side, the gardens and beach are beautiful, and the iguanas add an exotic touch. But overall, it's overpriced for the experience.
