It's found 160 kilometres from Klagenfurt am Woerthersee and its lively streets.

Does a seaside picnic sound enticing? Plan a day trip to Punta Verudela Beach or Rabac Beach.

Go beyond Veleniki and get ready to experience some wonderful natural sights. Just 35 kilometres away, Brijuni National Park is a fabulous spot to soak up some sunshine. Another sugggestion is Katarina Island, 17 kilometres away from Veleniki.

Take some time to stroll around the delightful landscape of Vrsar Harbour. Swinging by Dusan Dzamonja Sculpture Park will also do a world of wonders for your well-being.

Whether you'd like to spend the majority of your time on the black diamond runs or the beginners' slopes, you'll love the powdery snow at Platak Ski Resort.

Baredine Cave and Basilica of Euphrasius are quite close to the middle of Porec, 0.9 kilometres to the southeast. Looking for more? Kirmenjak, 5 kilometres to the southeast of Veleniki, is proud to offer Marafor Square and Spadici Beach.
