It’s good
The hotel is very historic and the staff very helpful, Alessandro and the two women. One expects a historic hotel in Venice to not have modern amenities in the room and it doesn’t. I would avoid the rooms that are split level as it’s a hassel to go up and down. The location is beautiful, the breakfast more than adequate. (We’re probably spoiled by some outstanding modern hotels we’ve stayed in while in Italy. I’ve found them to be far better than many U.S. hotels, they don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing)

We enjoyed our stay in Venice. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. The room was a little dated with an awkward configuration. The location was quiet but not much soundproofing between the interior walls. We were on the ground floor in a standard room… upstairs probably would be better.

To be completely honest the hotel is very old but it is nice, overall you will have a great experience unless you run into Benetta, the lady is miserable and spreads her poison around without thinking twice. I would love to leave a better review but I can’t because of the experience I had with Benetta. People like her should never work in customer service

Great, atmospheric location facing a canal. Many good restaurants within easy walking distance. Vaporetta stop (Ca’ D’Oro) on Grand Canal 5 minutes walk. Friendly staff. Good room. A special hotel.

Stunning property, very traditional decor. Breakfast was great. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a fromt of property balcony room, only downside was opposit is building work amd they started quite early in the morning.

This hotel is in a great location - just slightly off the beaten track. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was decent enough but had a wonderful view from the balcony. Only slight downside is a lack of facilities - no on site bar, or even any reception toilets. Overall, well recommended.

Alessandro was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Michela made us a lovely spread for breakfast and great coffee. Alessandro arranged a water taxi for us, which was amazing.Room was beautiful, stunning 1500's property. Will definitely rebook when we are next in Venice, highly recommend 👌
