Hidden Gem
This property is spectacular assuming you want a real Venice experience. It is everything you want - on canal, well located to shopping and landmarks, spacious, and the owner/managers (especially Jane and her husband) could not be better. It made our stay very special.

This property and its crew set the bar at an unparalleled level. Location, condition and responsiveness of proprietor deserve every star. Attention to detail is impressive, from the crispness of sheets in the bedrooms to sharpness of knives in the kitchen. This place gives VRBO a good name.

A great revisit
We stayed at this wonderful apartment quite a few years back, and nothing seems to have changed since then. Well kept, charming and with plenty of space for everybody. Just perfect for a group of 7-8 people. Good location, very venetian and clean.I can only reccommend this great apartment.

Fabulous Venice apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was really spacious and clean, with modern bathrooms, while also having traditional artwork and features. It is located in the perfect area, close to major landmarks but with a local feel and so many restaurants and cafes close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Flat! Perfect Location!
Out time in Venice was fabulous because of this amazing property! What a beautiful place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. The air conditioning was ice cold and worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable. The black-out shutters ensured that we weren't woken up by light and noise in the morning. The kitchen is very well appointed. The bathrooms are modern with plenty of hot water. I simply cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. Don't look any further...just book it!

Great place and property manager
In a very old city, this apartment is fully restored with AC. It is just off the tourist path, but you are a 5 minute walk to the heart of Venice. The place is nicer than the photos and bigger. The property manager and her family did everything they could to make our visit smooth and enjoyable. Jane - the Property Manger communicated with us ahead of time to make sure arrival would be without issues. Her husband (Luigi) and son (Michael) met us at the drop-off point to make sure we got in ok. Her son also runs a service to help with sightseeing, I found the prices to be aligned with others, but the quality seemed higher. First he was able to coordinate a private water taxi to and from the airport. ( Worth every penny). Second he helped us arrange a sightseeing tour to the outer islands. Again, beautiful private boat and tour guide. Funny enough, we booked late and he was over booked, so to get us in his father volunteered to be our guide. He’s lived on the island for 35 years and knew many people and sites. Again, it is a great place, but also a great local family to know when you on the island.

Incredible apartment!
I can not possibly say enough positive things about this accommodation! Cleanliness - it was immaculate. The bedding and linens were high end. Check in process - we had a slight miscommunication but the host had us sorted out within 10 minutes and had us all back on track and provided a bottle of bubbly for the VERY small inconvenience. Accuracy of listing - it is spot on! Kitchen is well setup and has all the basics you would need. The bathrooms were VERY modern and the showers were fantastic. It may be a building from the 1600s with all the charm and character but it has all the modern conveniences. There was also a laundromat just across the square. Communication with host - the host was fantastic even weeks before we arrived. Venice was a whole new world for us and her patience and guidance was GREATLY appreciated! Location and area - I can not imagine getting a better location! We were close to EVERYTHING! Overall rating - if we ever go back to Venice I know EXACTLY where we are staying. The charm of the apartment, the modern conveniences, a great host - it had it all AND the host's son, Michael, was a tour guide so the 6 of us quickly booked him for our Saturday tour of Murano and Burano. Great kid with lots of local knowledge and he arranged all the private boats, the glass factory tour, recommended a GREAT place for lunch on Burano and just worked everything completely around what we wanted to do and see. Highly recommend him for tours!!

Just lovely
Like all the other reviews, our stay was simply wonderful. It's always a good sign when people are walking by your window and taking pictures of YOUR VRBO. Everything is as described, the location was absolutely perfect, the neighborhood was fantastic, and it was a perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our son's graduation from college with all three of our kids. Jane was fantastic and very helpful in arranging many things, and I highly recommend taking advantage of her son's private tour of the other islands. Just storybook...

Venice - Best Stay Ever
From the moment of booking, interacting with Jane, to leaving for Venice from Canada, to her son meeting us at the water taxi, to helping with our luggage and bringing us to our stay, I cannot express how wonderful this process was and how wonderful Jane and her son Michael were. Thank you from our heart to yours. The property was amazing, off the beaten track, but so easy to get to everything. Absolutely loved this place and the experience. Fabulous place in Venice
We were four friends traveling from the states who found this place perfect for a Venice stay. It is close to everything yet away from the craziness of San Marco and tourists. Jane is a great host, communicating before our arrival and facilitating our arrival and departure, which can be tricky in Venice! Totally recommend it!

Luxurious comfort blending the old and the new
Eight of our family members from age 17-85 were well accommodated and fascinated with the historical structure of this space with its excellent bathroom and kitchen updates. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. The adjacent canal and shop views so intriguing and near. We anppreciated the ample kitchen supplies as well as trash recycling plan. The only slightly negative feature was the mention of replacing toilet paper, which is generally not expected or feasible. Our host was responsive and helpful, with only a short delay in connecting upon our arrival.

Family time, ages 10 to 82.
Two weeks of low key enjoyment in quiet location, away from the press of tourists, yet close enough to walk to most anything. In various groups we did some music, some museums, some churches, and enjoyed outings to Murano and St. Erasmo. Being able to step out to neighborhood pastry shops each morning was fun and led to interesting encounters. Some of us just stayed in on rainy days and read and rested — altogether delightful.

Great location
we were traveling as a family from seniors to teens. Everyone loved the property. Modern appliances. perfect location overlooking a canal and bridge, and very close to St. Marks Square and Realto Bridge. Also close to nice restaurants, food market, and bakeries. We left one piece of luggage by mistake and Jane was very helpful in shipping it back to us. Would recommend to others.

Amazing Palazzo in Venice
We had a wonderful stay in the palazzo! Jane and her son, Michael were lovely and extremely helpful. The Palazzo was more wonderful than the photos, and we had more than enough space. The balcony looks out onto a beautiful canal, and it was magical to watch the gondolas and boats go by during the day. At night, the neighborhood is both charming and quiet. We loved every moment!
