I really loved this hotel. Facility was in beautiful condition (unusual from my experience with about 5-6 Venice hotels) with well-appointed rooms with great beds and well-appointed bathrooms. Conveniently located: about a 7-10 minute walk from Santa Lucia train station and even less time to the nearest vaporetto stop while at the same time it was in a much quieter section of an otherwise noisy city. But by far the best part of the hotel was the amazing staff -- very welcoming, very helpful in offering suggestions for restaurants, etc. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Quiet location in a residential neighborhood
The hotel is in a nice location in the sense that the neighborhood is quieter and more residential than other parts of Venice. However, it's within 3-5 mins walk from a waterbus dock so it was still easy to get around. The hotel was decorated nicely, with a fruity scent throughout the lobby. The room was modern, with mini-fridge, big TV, and electric controls for different room lights. The bathroom had a "rainfall" shower head on the ceiling so it was nice and relaxing, although the water drained slowly on the ground, so there was a bit of water buildup in the shower area.

We loved our stay at the Santa Croce Hotel! It was an easy walk from the train station, but felt removed from all the hustle and bustle. Every single member of the staff that we encountered from the front desk to the bartender and staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and had great amenities and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Venice, we will absolutely stay here again.

Wow, what a BEAUTIFUL hotel!!! Easily one of our favorite hotels that we’ve ever stayed at. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the train station and bus terminal, which was a bonus for us since Venice isn’t exactly easy to get around with luggage. The hotel itself is wonderfully decorated with personalized touched that really make a guest feel special. The staff were warm, welcoming, and knowledgable. Also, excellent breakfast!

What a gem! This hotel is an oasis after a busy day in Venice. Nothing is too much trouble and staff are friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with everything you could need or want. Loved every minute and would definitely stay again! Very convenient location for the water bus station too!

We had a wonderful experience at Santa Croce boutique hotel and will definitely be coming back here whenever I am in Venice. The hotel is in a great location, it was easy to take a water taxi from the airport to the hotel with a 3 minute walk where the water taxi drops you off. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the train station. The hotel is very nice, feels like it’s more updated and cared for vs other parts of Venice. Just like the rest of the property our room was beautiful. It felt like we were staying in a high end authentic Venetian room. While the hotel is great, the staff are even better. Marco and Roberto were incredible. They were so nice and helped us with reservations, recommendations and overall gave great suggestions that made our short trip memorable.

The Best Service and Hospitality
Incredible incredible hotel, the best service I’ve experienced in my travels. Roberto is very kind and inviting, he has great recommendations and gives an excellent overview of the city when you arrive. Every person who works at the hotel makes you feel at home. When we travel back to Venice, we will be staying here again.

This hotel is old, the staff is great and breakfast is fine, could use more vegetarian options. Water taxis are expensive and the ferries were crowded, if you like to walk a lot it is totally fine. For us it was a little hard as it was super hot and we were completely jet lagged, so we wish we had picked something closer to the main areas…
