Nothing like what the pictures showed that were taken 20 years ago its run down ,bar never opened .and owner slept on couch in reception only good thing was beds were clean and fresh towels daily ,

the hotel itself is beautiful however there was one receptionist/hostess that was unhelpful and judgmental. I would recommended others to stay if the hostess was nicer. Please note there were two when i went and the young hostess/receptionist is the one who was very unpleasant.

The property looked as advertised from the street and as we walked up but that’s where it ended. There was no one at the desk to check in with at 1800. Once we were able to track someone down to check us in she was very short and rude. We made it to our room and found it to be much smaller than advertised and the shower had mildew in it and the refrigerator appeared to have mold in it. To make matters worse, when we went to retire for the evening the air conditioning did not work. It was 2200 and reception desk said they were open until 2300 yet there was no one to be found anywhere. The room had no fan and no air conditioning and it was now approaching 90 degrees in the room even with the window open. We were forced to sleep with the window open which meant listening to traffic noise all night. This hotel was very disappointing. Thankfully we were only here for one night. I would not recommend this to anyone. This could be a charming place but they have a lot of work to do.

If you don't have any or much patience with eccentricity, don't stay here, because it is as eccentric as the pic on Expedia looks. This is easily the cheapest accommodation to do Venice. A 53E bus (tickets and directions at the tobacconist's - good cake shop next door) gets you to S Lucia in 20 minutes. Clean, functional but avoid the breakfast if you can, it's eccentric but even we drew a line.

Good: easy commute to Venice by bus 53E (€1.50 each way)-tickets bought at the nearest Campsite; quiet place compare to noisy and busy Venice; fresh towels every day; air conditioning; free big parking; big bed. Bad: old and dusty room with musty smell; bathroom needs renovation-old and rusty; lack of toilet rolls and soap; toilet without flap; internet doesn’t work in the room-only in reception area; one chair in double room, bad lighting (no ceiling light, just side lights).

The hotel is very basic but pleasant taking in to consideration the price for what it. The photo's are not recent for quite some time! There is rarely anyone on reception and the room key's are left on reception desk for you to help yourself which concerned us. The parking is free, but unlike advertised the breakfast is 5euros a day per person. The breakfast is basic but ok unless they've a large tour group in which case your shoved to the side and the food is vial with the coffee machine turned off and only instant coffee. There is a restaurant but it's not/never open and the bar area permantly closed. The hotel is perfectly situated for touring (you will need a car) to get in to venice each day using using the park and ride or driving to Verona almost 9euro each way on the toll road. The hotel serves a purpose but you don't get whats advertised the decor is old and run down but so long as you just wanting a place to sleep your fine. BE AWARE THE HOTEL IS OFF THE MAIN ROAD the sat navs take you to a residential address on main road. There is a restaurant just behind the hotel 3 min walk, the food is the best the service attentive and they go out they're way for you, BE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS THOUGH AS ALWAYS BUSY !!!

Good hotel , good staff and helpful, room was clean, good ambience, rooms view was same like the pictures during booking, necessary amenities provided, comfortable beds. The location of hotel is bit away from Mestre station, takes 30-40 mins by bus.

The pictures this hotel has posted on Expedia has nothing to do with the real look of the property. I was impressed by the pictures but when we arrived at the hotel we were more than disappointed by what the property looks like. The cleanlines of the hotel is questionable. I felt that the area was invaded by bugs. We killed a bug and left it on the floor on the first day of our arrival and that very same bug was still on the same spot on the floor until we left 5 days later. The hotel does not provide individually packed soap shampoo, conditioner or body lotion, does not provide iron or ironing board, not even at the front desk. Some of the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful but the person who met us at our arrival was grumpy as hell, she was doing all day shifts, in 5 days we never got a single smile from her. BTW the piano that is on the main picture of that property is not there, our room was suppose to have colourful Victorian style interior decoration, the decor of our room was rather disapointing with pale yellow paint walls with black dirty marks, white bed frame, small closet that could barely fit the clothes of a single person,let alone 2 people, leaking shower, no room where to leave toothbrush and toothpaste, let alone other stuff like deodorant, cologne or hair brush. In the shower you have nowhere to leave your soap.

We arrived 1 hour early than our regular check in time, we was greeted by Olga ( speaking English ) very nice and helpful lady. She gave our room key even we were hour early. Enter the room it was nice clean and tidy we had booked standard room. Bed was decorated with drapes on all 4 sides as shown on their website. Pros: good value for money Very quiet area Peaceful and no noise at all OLGA very helpful lady Cons: no bathroom mats so person can easily slip on the floor Shower area is very small Hardly find any human in surrounding area Only one bus route 18 from Mestre station if you miss 1 bus you have to wait for another 40 minutes. No restaurant in surrounding area so you have to go to Mestre for munch. Hotel have vending machine where you can get water bottle snacks and beer.! Overall it’s a good value for money If you coming by car than no problem but it you are coming by public transport travelling journey is long. Specially after 21:00 in evening. We landed at TSF so from airport to hotel it took us around 2/5 hour travel time on public transport .

The only thing that is advertised correctly about this hotel is that it has Venetian style decor, AC and wifi. When we arrived we saw that the sliding door to our shower was completely off. We arrived at 2pm, when we went back downstairs, as the room did not have a telephone in it to contact reception, we asked the receptionist if maintenance could fix it and she informed us that this could not be done until the following morning because maintenance was no longer in the building. The following morning no one came to fix this issue. On the night of our arrival, we had paid for a hot breakfast for the following morning, and when we arrived for breakfast nothing was available for us to eat. We had to consult the same receptionist about this to which she asked if we had actually paid for the breakfast (of course we had paid for the breakfast). Finally that same receptionist proceeds to make us scrambled eggs and some salami and cheese on a plate no croissants and barely any coffee. It advertised that there was a telephone and fridge in every room and there was not in ours. The restaurant and club in the hotel were closed the entire time we were staying in the hotel and all restaurant and shops in the area, bar a tobacco shop and a lidl, were closed from 12-6pm. Housekeeping came at different times every day, twice in the morning, twice midday and once in the afternoon. Housekeeping also did not change our bed sheets only made the bed with the sheets we already had. Not 3 stars!

Very cool non touristy town with a charm of its own. But... not a town to walk around and check out when wanting to visit Italy. Not at all close to the bus. Bad transportation from hotel! 15 minutes walk to the bus stop and 40 minutes by bus to Venice. Then the buses from Venice end course at 11 pm. Also the bus doesn’t stop close at night, so it’s a 30 minute walk or pricey taxi. Room was clean, but no water or coffee machine. No toiletries just hand soap. Reception is rude and we had to wait an hour for someone to come out.
