All the hotels in the area are about the same price - I chose this location because it was the newest and hopefully not run down, and because it was pet friendly. I was pleased with my room which was clean and spacious, but was advised at check-in there would be no housekeeping for the first day because of Christmas. When I had no housekeeping after the second day, the front desk lady said that I was told 2 days, when it was only one. Then she said it was because they only have 8 rooms in use so they didnt get the housekeeper to come in. When I told her that wasn't what I was told, she ROLLED HER EYES at me. I told her I didn't appreciate her rudeness, I am paying full price for the room - why shouldn't I expect the services? I asked her to review with her manager and get back to me. After I calmed down, I realized the best decision was to move to a new room, which she accommodated for me. But it didn't get cleaned either - only a towel refresh/trash empty after the first and second nights. The housekeeper looked distressed that I wanted a full cleaning on the room. Overall the staff was not friendly, and the fighting over the housekeeping left me sour on this location. They seem to be doing the barest of minimums and for the money, I would recommend a different hotel.
