At the foot of the magnificent Giant Mountains, in a secluded place in the village of Vichova you will find this traditional wooden chalet. The vast meadows, green forests and stunning views of the surrounding mountains give the house a romantic atmosphere.
The house is surrounded by a spacious garden with a ping-pong table, Russian bowling game and darts. There is also a place here with garden furniture and the possibility of grilling. At the back of the house there is a nice terrace with garden furniture, parasols and a play area for children. The house is easily accessible all year round and in the winter months the access road is very well maintained. Parking is available on a private lot. The house is an excellent starting point for an active or relaxing holiday, thus you can choose the ideal option for you. You will find extensive opportunities for cycling, hiking, mountain hiking and climbing on marked trails, horseback riding, swimming, fishing and golf. The winter sports enthusiasts are not short of options here either. Besides unlimited possibilities for cross-country skiing, there are also several ski resorts. The closest is in Aldrov (6 km) with four runs, 4 persons ski lifts, ski school, ski rental, snack bars and night skiing. This resort is ideal for families with children, beginners and advanced skiers. The larger and better-known ski resorts are in Benecko (10 km), Horni Misecky (14.5 km), Rokytnice nad Jizerou (15 km) or in Spindleruv Mlyn (25 km). In all these cities you can also find perfect shopping facilities, opportunities for excursions or for visiting cultural attractions.

PLEASE NOTE: Holiday cottage Roubenka is designed for family recreation. Bachelor party, alcohol party and exuberant celebrations are not allowed.

The accommodation is suitable for max. 11 persons, it has two floors and is the ideal accommodation for families with children and groups of friends. The layout of the house is as follows:

On the ground floor there is a living room with a sofa and fireplace, a spacious dining area with wooden benches and a table, a fully equipped kitchen with among others, a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove with electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and plenty of kitchen utensils. There is one quadruple bedroom with 2 double beds, a small basement with a foosball table, bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, a boiler room and a storage room for food.

On the first floor there are a total of 2 bedrooms, one with one double and one single bed and the other bedroom with two single beds. One of the bedrooms has access to a terrace. Also on this floor there is a bathroom with shower, sink and a separate WC. On this same floor, you can use a games room / gym with 3 exercise machines and a table with chairs. The house has 2 TV's with satellite connection, radio, Wi-Fi internet and a cot. The central heating of the house uses heating oil. Bed linen can be reserved (against a fee) when booking the accommodation; you need to bring your own kitchen linen and hand towels.

The cottage offers an excellent base for hikes and bike rides through the untouched nature here. Nearby there are plenty of marked hiking and cycling routes of varying lengths and difficulty levels. Other sports activities: swimming pool (10 km), indoor swimming pool (6 km), horse riding (9 km), fishing, museum (6 and 9 km). For shopping, going out or enjoying ancient architecture you can visit Jilemnice (9km) and Vrchlabí (11 km). There are museums in Vrchlabí (the Giant Mountains), Harrachov (glass museum) and Paseky nad Jizerou (violin and ski museum). In Spindleruv Mlyn and Harrachov there are summer toboggan runs and various other sports facilities. Sights include among others the Hute Waterfall, a historic mountain house in Rokytnice, the historical cog railway between Tanvald and Harrachov. For a great place to go sightseeing in you should go to Liberec (70 km), with its beautiful city center and a large recreation center with a water park. Golf enthusiasts can have a wonderful time in Harrachov (14 km) or in Mladé Buky (33 km). The closest restaruant is located at a distance of 1,500 meters and for daily shopping you can visit Vichova nad Jizerou (3.5 km). Larger supermarkets are to be found in Jilemnice (9 km).

At the end of your stay you must leave the house in perfect condition. Otherwise, the final cleaning carried out by the owner will be at a cost of 20 euros.
Energy costs are included, you just have to pay the use of fuel oil (€ 1 / per liter). This will be settled at the end of your stay.
City tax is € 0.40 / p.p.
The deposit of € 150 is payable upon arrival. This is refunded after your stay, provided no damage has been done.

Please note, this accommodation is rented only for families, the owner has the right to reject other reservations.

Only 1 dog is accepted at this accommodation, no exceptions.
