The uniqueness is that the hotel and casino are connected and easy to go from one to the other. In addition the daily promotions of the casino are a very nice plus. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and we had a pleasant stay.

The room was spacious with a great view over the Mississippi River. The reception desk was fine and helpful. The in-house dining was atrocious and as the property was way out of town it required a three mile drive to find food.

I don't recommend this hotel.
There were no clear directions as to where the hotel check in is. There were no instructions how to use the room key. I had to ask several people where the hotel cafe was located. The website said there was a hotel grill and bar. There was a cafe which had a limited menu of mediocre items. The so called bar was closed. The room decor was very outdated. I could hardly wait to leave.

Enjoyed our stay on the MS River!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The jacuzzi tub was an extra plus! The one and only downside was the noise during the night, as our room was right next to the entrance to the casino.

Not the greatest but not the worst!
Check-in was easy but person wasn't very welcoming. The room was near the elevators and it sounded like someone was rolling something super heavy back and forth above us all night long. The mini fridge would shake and make rattle noises all night. The beds sheets wouldn't stay on the mattress very good, exposing the bare mattress and it made wobbly noises and clanks when you got on the bed. Not the ideal place to book if you need a good night sleep.
