Unexpected disappointment.
The room was clean and big. The breakfast was decent. The TV did not work even after I tried unplugging the cords and turning on and off the power strip and another remote as suggested by the front desk. The towel rack fell off the wall. The water in the shower never got hot. It was lukewarm at best. The front desk offered another room but it was too late at that time since we had taken lukewarm showers. The front desk told me the manager would be in touch with me the next day. I called him and he was very rude.

This hotel was AMAZING. after a bad stay at a hotel down the street the night before, i really was just hoping for something a little better. This place was really clean and nice. The room was immaculate. Fridge. Microwave. Desk. Chairs. And lounger. And a balcony!! 5am is a full breakfast included. Will be staying here from now on for work.

Not excellent , but passable.
We chose this hotel based on some of the "excellent" reviews. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, but my wife did not like the pillows. Breakfast was limited, with not much variety. The trash was almost overflowing. The waffle machine made an irritating beep non-stop, and when we brought it to the desk clerk's attention, she said, "it does that sometimes. Just turn it off." We had already checked out of our room when we went down to breakfast, and the restroom in the breakfast area was closed to non-employees. Overall, the stay was okay, but did not live up to the "excellent" reviews.

This hotel charged a deposit for incidentals or damage. This deposit was substantially higher than all the other hotels I stayed at during a cross country trip. They said my deposit would be refunded in 5-6 days. I did not damage the room or have any incidental charges. When I checked my credit card statement 11 days after my stay I saw that they had not refunded my deposit. I phoned the hotel and asked them about it. They said I smoked in the room so they were keeping my deposit. I do not smoke, nor does my travel companion. We did not even light a match in that room. When I disputed this with the assistant manager he just said I signed a paper stating I wouldn’t smoke. He was very disagreeable and did not offer any hope that they would return my deposit. I suspect this is a scam and a way to overcharge for mediocre lodging. Travelers beware!!!
