A perfect stay in Vienna center
Excellent service and collection of antiques. In a few minutes walking distance from Stephan‘s church. We had a very comfortable stay and delicious dinner/breakfast.

Stayed at the Hotel Stefanie on a solo trip to Vienna for 5 nights. The staff was wonder, and I felt very safe! The bar is great for a drink or quick snack at the end of the day. Breakfast has many delicious, fresh options. I would absolutely stay here again!

The bathrooms while elegant looking and clean are fundamentally unsafe for anyone with mobility issues. If you fall, and I did, it is very very difficult to get up. The hotel promotes the fact that it has a restaurant, but it is often unavailable to hotel guests because it is fully booked. I arrived at around 2:30 pm and indicated I had missed lunch. An unfriendly gentleman at reception said the restaurant was closed but would open at six pm. I said fine I would wait until then to eat. I returned at six pm to have dinner and the same gentleman seemingly took great pleasure in telling me the restaurant was fully booked. I asked why hadn’t he told me earlier. He replied because I hadn’t asked. The restaurant was also fully booked the following day; I gave up. Some of the staff were very nice, others not so much. Unless you crave a fin de siècle atmosphere I would skip this place.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for many years, but this time was the best! Upon inquiring at the desk about how to go to the city centre, the attendant at the desk surprised me with a senior tram ticket back and forth from the hotel. I was less happy with the excellent restaurant, being a senior and alone, I felt that the waiter was too busy with the larger groups and less attentive….

The building itself is stunning. The staff are welcoming efficient and friendly. Always ready to help. The breakfast was magnificent with so much choice beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff in the breakfast room are very attentive and efficent. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel in the Leopoldstadt area within easy walking distance of the centre.

One of the morning shift employees in reception was rude and making fun of guests in German language when they don’t speak German. The bellman (who is helping guests with luggages) is super nice. The restaurant charged us for water and when we asked for one more piece of certain kind of bread with dinner. Breakfast buffet could make the eggs in a better way and offer some deserts.

A beautiful old hotel with lots of history and charm. Well managed and appointed. The breakfast was full and delicious. We were close to our friends. Walkable to center of city and lovely Canal trails. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Stefanie was classic and adorable and I loved my stay here. It's super clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The area is walkable to plenty of dining, shopping, and transportation. I would stay here again if I'm in Vienna.
