Rooms were a good size, bed comfortable. Very clean. Relaxing and welcoming lobby plenty of places to just relax. Breakfast was very good lots of variety and well staffed. Check in and out was easy. New apartments are being built in front of this hotel so some rooms may not be able to see much. Our room was located so we could still see the water in distance and restaurants etc around Vik. Walkable to many restaurants

Very overpriced for what you get. We booked a standard room and were in an older dated part of the property. Photos of the property look much more elevated than what it actually is. This room was not worth $400 CAD. We paid for multiple hotels at the same price point during our stay in Iceland the experience was much much better. Disappointing as we really enjoyed Vik and the location was easy to walk everywhere, but I feel like I got ripped off…

Would recommend!
Great buffet breakfast included and great room. Only not a 5 star because the walls were a little thin (could hear neighbors) and the shower wasn’t level so our bathroom floor got wet each use. Otherwise a great time!

This was a good place to stay for the location, although it’s not hard to be in the ‘centre of things’ anywhere you stay in Vik! Everything was clean and tidy, a little tired but overall a good space. Breakfast was included and was a generous spread. Only drawbacks for us is the room was quite small, the shower space very small, not much air flow and there was no fridge in the room - would have appreciated to know this before going to the grocery store - although reception did offer to store in theirs (not quite the same though). The hotel seems to comprise of a very old building - where we stayed, and a much more modern one, where the restaurant is. You can definitely tell the difference between the two.
