Are you looking for a hotel in Villa Santa Maria? Unfortunately, they're as few and far between as the hair on your great uncle Shane's head. But take a quick drive out and you'll have more choice than you can shake your credit card at. There are 23 different accommodation options within a 30-kilometre radius of downtown Villa Santa Maria, so you're bound to find the digs you're after.

You might have to pull out your maps app and journey outside the city to find them, but the Hotel Natura and the Sport Village Hotel & Spa are terrific accommodation options. Looking for something else? You could also investigate the Borgo San Pietro and the Il Duca del Sannio.

You might like to look into some more hotels, such as the Garnì Il Riccio or the Hotel Don Luis. The first is located 25 kilometres from the centre, and the latter is 30 kilometres away. If these don't float your boat, we'd recommend the Hotel Perbacco, which is 35 kilometres from the downtown area.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Campo di Giove Ski Resort and Rivisondoli-Monte Pratello Ski Resort in Pescocostanzo. The Relais Ducale Spa & Pool and Hotel Vallefura are some of the great hotel and apartment options here. 25 kilometres to the southwest of Villa Santa Maria you'll find Roccaraso, which is home to the Cipriani Park Hotel and Grande Albergo. Roccaraso-Aremogna Ski Resort and Vallefura Pescocostanzo-Stazione di sport invernali are up there with the most popular sites to explore when visiting Roccaraso.

The Archeological Museum la Civitella, the Museum d'Arte c. Barbella and the Teatro Marrucino are just a couple of the awesome things to see and do in Chieti. This regional centre is 50 kilometres north of Villa Santa Maria and has a population of 44,000. Got some more time up your sleeve? Take advantage of the photo ops at the San Giustino Cathedral and the Giardino Botanico Michele Tenore. Pete and jools are honestly two of the nicest people we have ever met. Nothing was too much for them and they always went the extra mile. We stayed here for 1 week for our wedding in Pennapiedimonte - we arrived to a care package of items for dinner that night due to the time we arrived. They also placed items in the fridge so we were able to have a cold drink / tea ect. On arrival they showed us around, gave us all the information needed for the stay and were so lovely to us from the beginning. As it was for our wedding we had family / friends staying local and they allowed them to come up and spend time with us at the pool and in the house itself. They welcomed my family in on the day of my wedding and even helped the car ect reach us. They offered for me to use their home itself for my getting ready photos and I was so thankful to them for everything they done for us whilst we stayed here. Honestly the best place I have ever stayed. They even gave us a beautiful wedding gift / card and provided a drink for me and my mother / bridesmaids on my wedding day! It’s definitely a home away from home. I will be recommending this gem to everyone I know and even those I don’t. Thank you so much for making a special week even more special. Your home will forever have a place in our hearts. We really are gutted to be leaving. Thank you so much again .

We had an amazing stay at beautiful Casa Isabella. The owners, Marco and Isabella, are the kindest, most warm and welcoming hosts that you will find anywhere. Upon check-in we were offered coffee, tea, wine or gelato, served on their beautiful terrace. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room was bright and lovely. Thoughtful touches were all around. Breakfast was incredible, the best we have had anywhere. Just an amazing experience. Wifi was great. The house is filled with antiques and dates to the early 1800s. It was owned by Isabella’s grandmother. You are close to the beach, Lanciano. and parking was close by and easy. We love Abruzzo and come every year. If you plan to be in this area, you will be very happy staying here. 5 stars all around.
