Great little getaway on the quiet side of the big island. Turnoff from main road is difficult to see at night, so the owner came out and set a light for us. Can't ask for better service than that, honestly. Room has a well-equipped ensuite kitchen. Ka'u is farm country, so it's good to be able to do one's own cooking and coffee-making. Bathroom was nice; hot water worked well. This is a good base for visiting the green sand beach and Volcano national park. There are also a lot of nice secluded beaches nearby (owner can give recommendations). The area is pretty rural and there aren't a lot of services, but the people are friendly and the services that do exist are adequate.

Off the main tourist trail.

This is a beautiful, quite property on a hill surrounded by spectacular view. Night sky is fantastic.

1st time at a yurt. The room was nice. The place was in a more secluded area, but not far from highway access. Being far out, there wasn't a sewer system in place, so the toilet system took us off guard. Overall, nice place and staff was great to work with.

Absolutely amazing! We loved our stay here. We'll definitely be back.

Very clean, nicely equipped and beautiful property in a great neighborhood. Centrally located between Hilo and Kona. Owner was pleasant, helpful and easy to communicate with. This was a perfect vacation spot for our family.
