The parking attendants were not very helpful and one of them in particular was quite rude.
The hotel is very near JR Wakkanai Station so this makes it very convenient to go Cape Soya and Cape Noshappu and eating places. The best thing about this hotel is the seafood bowl breakfast and the onsen with an open air one available. Would stay here again if ever I visit Wakkanai
We had an unplanned one night stay in Wakkanai due to a storm... the Dormy Inn was ideal. Great onsen and very helpful staff. We would stay again... highly recommend.
The hotel is showing a little wear around the edges, but the view from the public baths on the roof can't be beat. Also very close to the train station and next to a great soup curry place! Would stay there if I ever make the long trip to Wakkanai again. :)
The members of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Example: When we checked in we were told parking was 900 JPY per day. We were surprised that s gravel parking lot was so expensive. Another staff member directed us to a free parking area two blocks away.
Over priced. Room is small already; putting a massage chair in the middle of the room does not make any sense. There isn’t even space in the room for luggage.
A trip to the Northernmost part of Japan. The Dormy Inn provided a good location and western style bedroom.
The hotel is very conveniently situated for all local facilities, the ferry terminal and railway station. Many local restaurants for which the hotel provides both a lunch and dinner dining guide.
Breakfast provided a wide ranging buffet served from 5.30 am which enables you to catch the early ferries to Rishiri and Rebun islands.
The price is high compared to similar hotels in the UK but compares well locally.
