With a full kitchen, a cozy living area, and complimentary WiFi, you'll find all the comforts of home just steps from six miles of beautiful, secluded sand. The cottage has a comfortable living area with a TV, a gas fireplace, brand-new furnishings, and an unbelievable panorama of the ocean through the wide west-facing windows. Step out to the balcony for fresh, salty air, and an even better view, then take a soothing soak in the new hot tub! The kitchen is equipped with all the basics you'll need to prepare meals, so let the chef of the group show off their skills on all of the appliances of home. The only thing missing is a dishwasher, but you'll be able to let the dishes soak in the sink while you take an after-dinner stroll on the beach to watch the sunset!

This was the our anniversary, once we talked to the neighbors on how to get in the Rental we so enjoyed our stay, we sighted whales which from what we've been told is rare. The views are amazing! Much to our surprise we found no coffee, salt or pepper....did find the coffee maker and filters, pots n pans... just left us feeling odd...you can stay in the smallest motel in frozen Idaho and they have coffee in every room. Need to inform folks about that. Also noticed a lot of large ants...inside the main level bedroom...being chased by even larger spiders. Price is high...kind of expected a little more....place needs more updating...usb oulets to be able to charge almost any and all devices would be an easy add to the place...not complaining just somethings to improve on...especially for the price. Oh and you want the renters to do dishes and laundry....its our vacation...and you have cleaners for such items.

Beautiful location frustrating process
I appreciated having a text with all the information about the door code and wifi in advance of checking in. The view from the apartment was breathtaking and beach access ideal. However, the lack of any comfortable furniture, decor, blankets/pillows was disappointing. The kitchen was well appointed and it was easy to reach people to ask questions. However, I would have appreciated a handbook or at least a document on site to answer basic questions about the fireplace, hot tub, and check out procedures. The downside to Vacasa being so reachable is that they interrupted with texts and requests for feedback at times that were inconvenient or felt intrusive. Also, the fireplace didn't work and that was a big part of the draw for this location.

Beautiful place
We had a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed being allowed to bring our dog to see the ocean for the first time for his birthday. It was great being right at the beach. We used the hot tub each night. I also appreciated not having a giant list of cleaning tasks. It felt more like a hotel. I hope to visit again!

Not like the picture
It's beach front and great in that regard. The unit is nicely updated. The picture of the living room must be from another unit because it did not have the nice large sofa that it shows in the picture. In fact the sofa was very small and uncomfortable. Bathrooms and Kitchen are nice. Beds are comfortable. The cables on the deck railing are broken and need repair. 4:00pm check-in is late and 10:00am out is earlier than most.

Great little house right on the beach.
We had a good stay at the house but the couch in our unit was dirty and horrible with springs sticking up. I notified the manager through two different routs and did not ever hear a thing. Pour customer service. I was also going to let them know the coffee pot leaked lots of water all over while brewing but never had the chance.

The location was good. It is right on Highway 101 but outside of town. The beach access was easy and we enjoyed our time there. I did have a specific question that was not answered that was asked four different times with no specific response to the question. The couch was in much need of repair as the spring we popping up and was uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a good rental.

The good - Good location, beach was great, close to a couple of restaurants, kid friendly area during the time we were there (mid June), place was clean, no odd smells, good place to stay at The bad: - Metal rope railing on the deck were snapped and not safe for kids as there is a 10-12ft drop to the backyard - Fireplace inside the unit is basically a hazar for kids, sharp edges and burns hot to touch ... so 100% parental watch required if you plan to turn the fireplace on

Wonderful except that a couple of issues clouded ur stay. First, the internet is horribly unreliable! Once I got the password (that took two days), I was still unable to answer a call from inside the house. Second, the TV/entertainment system would not allow us in to view programs because someone else was watching the TV elsewhere. Surely it is worth a few bucks a month at these prices. Third, the lack of reading lamps was total pain. Everyone reads at the coast. Get real!!

My spouse and I stayed during the week after Christmas to ring in the new year. Our experience was positive overall. The new and beach access are spot on. A couple of things could be helpful: bedside lights for reading, and hooks for hanging clothes, coats, etc. After arriving I realized that the photographs of the unit are not correct. They are of the unit next door (number 5). The set up is similar but furnishings are different. It would be cool if pictures of the actual unit were available.

Nice unit with plenty of space and in good shape. Couch was a bit sketch but adequate. Definitely needed more end tables, lights, towel racks, maybe a picture or two on the wall. Very nice view of the ocean and proximity to the crashing waves. Beach access very convenient. Big shower and tub upstairs and fireplace downstairs were enjoyable.

Nice basics
This cottage has no extras, not even hangers, a dresser or in the diwnstairs bedroom a closet is not provided. There is absolutely nothing in the little kitchen not even salt and if you want to cook bring your favorite pots or pan. But the view is great, it’s clean and updated. I would stay again I would just make lists of everything I need to bring and be a little more prepared next time.

Stunning views! Property was close to being perfect but lacked attention to detail. There are still no hooks, lamps, rugs. We had to wash all the kitchenware before we could use it and WiFi was down for part of the night. Overall we made it a great time! Get a burger at Chubby’s! They are delicious!!

Great view and beach access
The cottage was newly remodeled and very comfortable. The down side was there were no rugs anywhere, no closet poles or place to hang your clothes. No lamps or place to put a suitcase. Lastly the entire place hadn’t been vacuumed so dog hair and sand on the floors were a problem to my lady who is allergic to pet hair. The upside was Vacasa sent someone out within the hour to vacuum and mop. However under the furniture were still full of dog hair so problem was half solved. We would stay again at cape cottages and would hope for better next time.

Just what we wanted
Some dishes put away dirty and could have used better selection. Fireplace runs on gas logs so no need for getting wood. Clean enough overall unless you're a stickler for perfection....that said I'll say overall we liked the place. Great view. Easy beach access and you practically have the whole beach to yourself. Dog friendly. Those big windows on the sea side do a great job keeping the cold out. Lots of privacy
