Book Wang'uru hotels

The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. The hotel is set in woodland and has a relaxing setting and calming, the restaurant is brilliant, great buffet breakfast too and a good choice menu for lunch and dinner there's always a waitress or waiter on hand to assist you nothing is any trouble and I got to know them by name because they're so friendly and warm to you, great food and coffee too ,and a well stocked friendly bar to chill in I've stayed in 3 hotels now in Embu but the Izaak is just miles ahead much better and will definitely return, I just want to thank everyone there, too many to mention but you're all amazing lovely people and I'll miss you, thank you..

This place was so amazing and quiet to stay.I was so impressed by their selection of sheet and how they felt on my skin .The rooms were big and very clean.They have mosquito repellant so mosquitos can’t get in. Overall I give it a 10 and would recommend

The property is older but clean and well maintained. There are several different restaurants on site but they all use the same menu. The food is quite good, and the breakfast buffet that comes with most rooms has a good variety of items and good quality. Our main concern was the noise levels. The first night we were there, they had a DJ playing full blast in the pool area until nearly 5 am. I asked the front desk twice to lower the volume levels. They turned it down a bit for a while but it was soon just as loud as before. The second night the DJ was contained to the sound-proof bar and it was much better. Even during the day there is a lot of noise. The pools and various restaurants all have music blaring, and it seems like they are trying to play their music over top of the others. If that wasn't enough, occasionally the grocery store at the bottom of the street has a DJ blasting music, which competes with the others. Our room was at the front of the building where the noise is worse. If you are troubled by noise, insist on a room on the other side of the building. Except for the grocery store (which was always crowded and 6 people deep at each checkout) there is nothing else walkable from the resort. We did not feel safe venturing any further than the store. Staff was friendly, obliging and mostly helpful except for noise-related complaints.
