Arrow Acres Tiny Home - June

We are nestled on 8 acres in the Piney Woods and feature onsite creek fishing and walking trails, as well as a quaint outdoor entertaining space perfect for evening fires and stargazing. We're a short drive from the Big Thicket National Preserve, where you can enjoy hiking, biking, and canoeing, and, if you're feeling lucky, we're just 26 miles from the nearest casino.

June Carter is named after female legendary country singer/song-writer! Arrow Acres offers a peaceful get away from the city and busy life. Our tiny houses are for folks that like intimate spaces that are cozy and homespun. You'll be charmed by how comfy and relaxed it feels to nest in a tiny home. Enjoy morning coffee on the covered front porch or hangout snuggled up in the treelined loft upstairs. Even though the farmhouse is tiny, you'll find its larger than a hotel room and comfortable.

The tiny house sits on the property with 2 other tiny house rentals and a barn that is also available for rent as a venue. All 3 houses are staggered to give each house privacy and a view of the pond. We are right off the main road (HWY 69) but toward the back of the property away from the road. When you arrive, you can park along side of your unit or in the common area.

You can check starting at 3pm and check out is no later than 11am to allow time for cleaning between rentals. If you are hoping to check in earlier or later, let us know just before your trip, and if we can accommodate you with schedules of other visitors, we absolutely will!

We are a quick phone call or text away so feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Enjoy the outdoor scenery under the sun or stars. Casino, Big Thicket National Preserve, Hiking, Canoeing, Antique Shopping, Local Museum. We are in a rural area but not too far from the nearest grocery and liquor stores. Less than 5 to smaller local essentials and 10 minutes to supermarkets and restaurants.

Getting to the property and local attractions requires a vehicle, hiking around the property trails is always available.
Each tiny house has 1 assigned parking space on the side of each cabin and personal firepit. Cars are not allowed to park in front of cabins and any additional cars can park in the general parking area near the barn. Outdoor party lights are on dusk to dawn timers so please do not unplug or adjust the timer. No food, drinks or shoes in the loft space.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television is provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.
Guests will find features like internet access and onsite parking.

We booked this cabin about 4 months ago (paid in full) When we arrived we sat in our car for about an hour because we were never sent our check in information. Finally I called Expidia and they also could not make contact so we had to stay at another hotel which costed me even more money.

Exactly what we needed for the occasion
We had an event to attend and we were very pleased with the location. Super cute, clean and everything we needed. I love birds and we had the best time listening and watching on the lovely porch.

Cute and cozy
This is a cute and cozy idea and much better than some of the motel/hotel offerings that are over 1/2 hour away.

Beautiful tiny home
We wanted to explore the hiking trails in Big Thicket and booked this tiny home to be close to the trails. This home was very conveniently located and it was easy to get to nearby trails and the Big Thicket visitor center. The home had everything we could wish for; a fully equipped kitchen to cook dinner, a couch to relax and a nice porch to enjoy the sun. The only minor issue we had was that the tiny home is close to a road with a lot of traffic and the noise of it (even when inside the house) was a bit annoying. But we would definitely stay again next time we are planning to hike in this area.
