Weekend getaway

Very nice and modern hotel. Sleek design and very comfortable. All of the rooms are the same. One big king size bed, which was absolutely soft comfortable and cozy. The only thing I would recommend is the option to turn the air conditioner all the way off. I’m very cold natured and thank goodness I brought my electric blanket with me. Other than that the entire stay was perfect.

The pluses: good location-several restaurants and a big supermarket nearby, close to metro station. Friendly and accommodating staff. The misses: no fridge or microwave, (but you could change the mood lighting in your room)! Tiny built-in “ice box” to potentially keep food/drinks cold. No ice machines however. Was able to get ice and bucket from the bar. Conditioner provided, but no shampoo. Would have preferred useful amenities instead of gimmicky mood lighting and iPad controls. Felt check in procedure required too much personal info as well as invasive front/back scanning of my ID. Privacy compromised and marketing info mined.

The stay was incredible, the facilities very clean and beautiful. The lobby is a good place to have fun. The rooms are clean and you can control some features from your device. Cons- The train station is far away from the hotel. There is no parking, and parking places around the hotel are expensive, the neighborhood near the hotel is not safe at all, there are many homeless people around, I thought twice before arriving late at night walking to the hotel.

There is no direct parking so if you have a car you have to rely on street parking or using the valet service of a hotel across the street. People were very friendly and the room was neat and clean albeit not a large room. Had some of a Tokyo room vibe. My room had a king size bed but not a lot of room so good for a single but could be a bit tight for 2.

It was a great stay, the rooms are small definitely intended for someone younger. I enjoyed everything especially the modern features regarding lighting and the curtain system. My only complaint is that Chromcast didn’t work at all, but that wasn’t really a dealbreaker.
