Hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. Lobby was spacious and inviting, having access to a printer in the lobby was very convenient. The room was very tech-forward, and hot water worked excellently. The bed and mattress were very comfortable, and having four pillows was a great touch.
Hotel location is very convenient, close to Harris Teeter, Starbucks, Metro train station, McDonald’s, Five Guys, and CVS, making it easy to access food, transportation, and daily essentials. A few issues that affected our stay. The bed frame cover underneath was loose and repeatedly fell to the floor, creating a loud noise. The room was quite small—similar to a Japanese-style layout—which may feel tight for some guests. The wooden floor was noisy when walking, and it also seemed to collect dust easily; we had to request an additional bath rug because our feet felt dirty when walking barefoot.
We noticed a bottle of soap/shampoo that smelled old, though a spare was available, which helped. There was no microwave access in the room, making it difficult to reheat food. When we first entered the room, there were no face towels provided, although this was resolved after requesting them. Sink was also small.
Staff experience was mixed—about half of the staff were friendly and welcoming. While early check-in was not available, the hotel kindly allowed us to leave our bags at the lobby so we could walk around while waiting, which we appreciated.
