Room Issues
My room was not equipped with a refrigerator or microwave. This became important as I purchased food and had no place to store it. My room was infestee with roaches and I had to request a room change for me and my child. I had to throw away the food I bought. This became an extra hassle as we traveled all the way from the Westcoast and were tired and not expecting to deal with an unprepared room, roach infestation, and room changes. I will say I've stayed here previously and this is the first time I've had this negative experience

On the outside, the hotel was beautiful. But when you went on the fifth floor, the hallway was a bit warm. There was mold on the ceiling. The rooms were really stuffy. I have allergies so I was miserable the whole stay.

The room had mold smell damp The AC had all that dust on the ceiling which was visible not sure how they missed that. The floors were so dirty and smelly. We did let the front desk know We all got a bad cough from staying there.

The AC in room 700 doesn't work properly. It was just the fan blowing and we asked them to fix it but nothing has been done. We won't stay at this place on our next visit. Parking is $30 per night, very high compared to other hotels near by.

The hotel is shared with the double tree, but pool access is denied to those staying at the hotel Silver Spring. The tv in the hotel did not work and when I asked about it they said they’d send an engineer and it never happened. The staff more than made up for it and the service was wonderful, I got a great breakfast for my trouble. The neighborhood is a little sketchy at night and obviously not the hotel’s fault and idk why it is a measure of the hotel’s worthiness. The water pressure in the bathroom shower was intense and I did not get a king bed they gave me a queen size bed. The stay was amazing otherwise

I read a lot of negative reviews on this property and I have to say I did not walk away with a shared experience. Were there minor defects in the wall paint? Sure. Were there minor issues with the TV reception during a thunderstorm? Yeah. Did the coffee pot not turn on in the morning? Yes. However, the bed was comfortable, the room was cool, clean, and less than a block away from the Fillmore. I would definitely stay here again when in town for a show.
