We were in the "victorian" side if the hotel. Weirdly, all the light switches were waist high. The onky rwal problwm was an unclean towel that had a giant wad of hair on it. But, it was addressed with staff and we got a free breakfast as compensation. Overall great stay.

This is a lovely restored historic inn in central Washington DC. Staff was pleasant, it has a restaurant and bar, and is walking distance to many sites and public transport. Rooms are smaller but well appointed. We thought it was a great value.

Conveniently located for me. I a boutique hotel that has charm, missing in chain hotels such as Marriott, Hilton, etc. that are located near by. Lobby is small, and there is no breakfast buffet, although you can order à la carte items.

My husband and I found this hotel welcoming both in ambiance and personnel, from the person who greeted us and opened the door upon our arrival to the front desk team, including a personal tour of the historic buildings, to the bar and restaurant staff. We arrived with our bikes and the hotel staff took extra effort to provide us a room that could safely accommodate our bikes with minimal risk of damage to the room. They were most gracious. If I could, I would rate the entire experience a 6 out of 5 star hotel.
