I did not get the room that I reserved. I paid extra for the "Deluxe" 1 BR apartment with balcony. I was put in a room in the basement (obviously no balcony) that had no view except the trash accumulating next to the underground window. Also, being in the basement, the room was uncomfortably humid. Additionally, the Roku TV in the room would not work, as the hotel's internet signal was too weak. I tried to change rooms/get help with the TV, but the people working at the front desk did nothing. Please stay away from this awful place!

I never received a text, as they indicated, with my room number and keypad access code before check-in. I ended up checking in late and having to call to get that. Once I had access to the room, the bedsheets hadn't been changed and the bed wasn't made (good amount of hair on the pillows). One of the staff there apologized and took care of it. Later, I noticed hair and a used hand towel in the bathroom, which indicated that hadn't been cleaned either, but it was too late at that point, so I had to run the shower to rinse all that out.

What an amazing studio apartment. I love the modern decor, large windows, location in an up and coming neighborhood, plus it is fully equipped. The check-in process is fairly easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I appreciated the kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Our room wasn't a clean as I'd expected and wasn't ready when I'd started that arrivebut could live with that. The biggest problem is the parking: the safest and least concerning parking was a solid15 minute walk away. Perhaps a different Placemakr site would be different. Nice place, wrong neighborhood.

Only the faiclity is great. Area is sooooo shady and unsafe. Full of homeless around the apartment, street at the front is mostly congested. I can hear people walking upstairs and it was very loud at night. But inside was clean and nice.

Worst experience dealing with a professional establishment. I prepaid for an 2 bed room apartment with balcony and on getting to the Placemakr Noma, was told they had sold my room to another customer so I had to make alternate accommodation arrangement

Overall the place is nice. Only only complaint was tou advertise a balcony, however you can't open the door to enjoy it. I asked numerous times, but no response as to how to open it. Other than that everything was fine. Very clean and updated apartment.

Not really a hotel, rather more like a small efficiency apartment. It was well appointed and clean, but there are no normal hotel services. Also, the neighborhood is quite run down. A good value even in light of these issues.

A new Placemakr in DC
Brand new looking and nicely furnished. Things seemed clean and nicely maintained. My PIN did not work initially and it was hard to get hold of someone. But once I did, people were great on site at the property. Not many spots near-by to grab coffee or eat.
