This hotel is perfect for tourists in DC - the location is excellent and close to transportation options, the neighborhood is completely walkable (and safe) with plenty of dining options after a long day visiting DC sights. Friendly staff and a large, comfortable room made it a great experience for me and my adult daughter taking a short girls' trip!

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms, nice aesthetic. Only two minor quibbles - the sliding door in our room was rather hard to slide back and forth and the sink drain was rather slow. Otherwise the room was great. Very convenient to lots of interesting places to eat (didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel's restaurant) and Metro only a few minutes away.

This property has the advantages of proximity to a great area, walkability, parking (though it's not cheap, but it's DC), and a quality restaurant. But, the best thing about it for us was how incredibly helpful and pleasant the staff was both before and during our five night stay. If you want all of the things I mentioned above - and a great staff to make your stay pleasant - this is the place for you.

All the ice machines were not in working order so we had to go to the front desk to get ice. Also, the refrigerator in our room didn't work and I had to call twice before maintenance arrived he then told us that it just wasn't turrned on and he would come back in a halt hour - I had to call again an hour later, it wasn't working and they had to replace it - after 4 hours of hassel on my part.
