A stylish shoebox
Stylish and inexpensive in a neighborhood with striking income inequality and gentrification, and not as easily accessible via the Metro as it may appear based on the map (I am a former DC resident and generally very familiar walking all over large cities). More notable though was that although it was inexpensive, the room was among the smallest I've ever been in and just much smaller than was worth the price.

It's just ok
Stay was ok. place seemed clean and rooftop bar was nice. Room is small with a sink in the room, not the bathroom which felt weird. Lots of street noise and parking is annoying. No gym if that is important to you. Front desk staff was nice but hard to get accurate information from them.

It was hard to sport but once you find it, it’s like a hideaway. Very beautiful decor and service was pretty good. I enjoyed the rooms and the tv being on a mount that allows it to move. Great experience and with it being right next to Union Market, you can walk over and have a large variety of foods.

Stayed on two separate occasions. The first time was uneventful, no problems except no iron in the room. The second time was not pleasant. While I was checking in I notice the front desk clerk helping another customer check-in, the clerk offered the customer a complementary drink chip. Then when I checked I didn't get the same offer that time nor was I offers d the same courtesy the two night before when I checked-in. I asked for the complementary drink chip and was given one. I thought that was weird. Later that a fire alarm went off throughout the hotel so I evacuated my room after grabbing a few my belongings, and exit the building in the back. Walked around the building to the lobby and noticed there hotel workers fanning the fire alarms. At the hotel they offer cooking classes where people can drink and cook. Someone burned their dish and hotel lacks proper ventilation.

the hotel was very nice, it was well decorated and the lobby smelled very good. the front desk was very nice. the inconvenience of parking and then paying $45 for either hotel parking or in the garage was not noticeably established to us until after we booked out trip and got the run down a few days before.

The hotel was very nice. If you want good sleep, this isn't the place for you. On a random Tuesday night, a guest was insanely loud blasting music. It completely ruined my sleep. I called the front desk, and they stopped them within 5 minutes. The walls are so thin that I unfortunately won't be coming back. It was extremely noisy, and the towels and bed linens were dirty. Brownish stained the bed smelled like someone's armpits. The staff was amazing, so I feel bad about leaving this review.
