We were looking for a lower cost option in the area and choose this property. Ratings are comparing it to other similar properties. This is a little farther outside of town than I would have preferred. A 30min walk without sidewalks the full way. The room was so damp. This was our main concern and would not return for that reason. Other than that, everything was fine.

Gorgeous View Motel was perfect. We wanted something close to downtown Watkins Glen and this location’s added view and fair rate made it an easy pick. We were greeted on arrival with a friendly and convenient check-in. Room was simple and clean.

Clean room but dated, could use some hooks in bathroom for hanging towels maybe a shelf near sink to put your toothbrush/ paste. One other issue is that there was a difference in price, hotels.com told me they would call the hotel management, the management told me it was up to hotels.com if they were going to refund the difference. Now im getting the runaround from .com. not happy

Everything was fine. A little noisy (not late at night all quiet then) footsteps above me. When people were sitting outside you could hear them talking. TV was kind of strange and limited in channels. I could not get local channels - perhaps it was my error? I would stay there again. Nice staff, clean, comfortable, great location. Perfect for me; great night's sleep.
