Best group accommodation.
A beautiful place located near the river. Well equipped with all what we required. The courtyard was spacious for the big group to hang out and chill. Kitchen was well equipped to cater for the big group. Rooms big, comfortable and enough toilets for the whole group. Sarah was a splendid host. Quick to reply, kind and very helpful. Recommend this place for sure and we will be back.

Mostly happy, great open areas
My family and friends really enjoyed the property. Great large open areas for all of us to enjoy, but there were a few issues raised over the weekend. Bedroom 5 had an initial bad smell, like a dead animal somewhere. Hallway adjoining bedroom 3 also had bad smell similar to bedroom 5. Grill had grease dripping from above down onto grill plate onto our food and dripping from underneath the drip tray. We have cleaned better than we found. Floors were not clean, didn't seem a basic sweep was done. Dining room above kitchen had a musky smell. 1 chair on the deck had a partly broken support beam making it feel flimsy and unsafe to use for my elderly parents who found that issue. Doors of fridge in bar area do not close properly, seals may need changing. Many ants at both front doors. We also had no scourers to clean the large pans, as they did not fit in dishwasher, and made do with what we could find. Apart from these, we had a lovely stay at your property. Thank you Paul

plenty of space for everyone
A comfortable relaxed property, it had everything we needed for our family group of 20 to enjoy our time together. The rooms were beautifully renovated, while maintaining the history of the property, which was fascinating to learn about. highlights were the very comfortable beds, great cooking facilities and so much space for everyone to be together without being on top of each other! thank you.

Great Group Venue
We had a great weekend celebrating a 50th Birthday with family and friends of all ages. The sleeping accommodation and bathrooms were excellent. Heaters in all spaces worked extremely well including in the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was great for all the meals. The kids all ran a murder mystery using the courtroom and we all had great fun looking through the museum rooms. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond with any queries.

Not just a place to stay. It's an experience!
What an absolutely amazing property! Every bedroom was huge and inviting. Loved the double showers in the modern bathrooms. The entertainment area is amazing with so much room for everyone and the bar with the LEDs that auto turn on were fantastic. Sitting on the deck overlooking the river was a favorite place for everyone in the mornings. Enjoyed the fire pit with a few bevvies in the evenings. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and more. Then you can also get a history lesson while interacting with the inhouse museum. The teens and kids that came moved straight into the games room. This is a fantastic property! We would definitely return, probably with more people as there was still heaps of room, even with 9 people.
