The motel is not high luxury but it meets the needs of an overnight stay. It’s clean and quaint. It’s a mom and pop place and is working hard to survive conglomerates. We will stay again if we travel north. Lots of restaurants and fast food very close.

It's older, but I wasn't looking for luxury accomodations. It has a very nice pond with a fountain and picnic/bbq area up front. The rooms could use some updating, but it looked to me like updating is in progress. They actually followed my request for no air freshener. High points for that! If you're looking for clean and quiet (it is on the main rd, but as I was in the back, the road noise was minimal)...this is a good place.

Lady on the desk was very nice. Property needs major updating. Some renos done but not properly. Room smelled terrible. I had my dog with me. He never barks or makes a noise but this night he kept going to the patio door and looking out growling. The lock on the door was just a regular turn knob and it was so lose and noticed 1 of 2 screws in the door knob was missing. I finally got to sleep and my dog woke me when he growled and went over to the door. Finally got back to sleep but only for a couple hours and when i woke up my dog was sitting up staring at the door. Just had a very uneasy feeling staying there so we got up and left.
