I enjoyed my stay at AKA in west palm-) The staff were collectively professional and prompt in responding to inquiries. The room was smaller than i expected but functional and modern. Bradley was exceptional and super helpful!! He brought up ice, and chocolate 🍫 as my boyfriend and i were having a romantic night. The only issue, i paid for an upsell and wish that there was more transparency of how much you’ll be charged, including any additional fees. I would stay there again-)

They are very professional and polite. They have no weight limit on their dogs and allowed two. That is not always easy to find, and there are many other furry friends there as well.. there is also a high-end convenience store with wine on property and an excellent restaurant. Stop it.

Almost Five Stars...
The hotel was conveniently located and incredibly clean and fresh feeling. The room was spacious with a great view of the harbor. The staff were super friendly as well. The on premise market offered a very ecclectic assortment of food, drinks , snacks etc. - well beyod the traditional hotel "store." A bit pricey, but still walked a way with a few things. Only issue- The spa (which was "hyped up") enough so that I planned on getting treatments for myself and my son, couldnt accommodate us because they didnt have the staff and that we should come back in a few days and reschedule. Unfortunately, I dont set my business travel around spa dates. When I discussed this with teh front desk, it was met with indifference. (FTR- Offering a shopping bonus in the on premise store would have been a great way to augment the disappointment. Just saying...) Kept it from a 5 star review...

Dog days..!
Dogs throughout the hotel..constantly barking..and dog hair everywhere..I was woken up several times during my stay. I explained this to front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything about it.. Other than feeling like I was staying in a kennel..the staff was very friendly and helpful..

Did not experience most of the services due to the hurricane. Did not realize this hotel was such a dog haven. No pool, limited maid services, dogs everywhere, no use of electric shuttle. No discount or compensation offered.
