Nothe House - Exclusive home, Weymouth Harbour
Dating back to the 1850's, Nothe House is an impressive holiday home situated in an elevated position overlooking Weymouth Harbour, with views spanning as far as the White Horse on the hill at Osmington, and even over to Hardy's Monument just west of Dorchester. The historic former coastguards house has been lovingly renovated into a stylish and accommodating holiday home with thoughtful touches throughout. The ground floor comprises a picture perfect sitting room, with floor to ceiling glass windows framing the breathtaking view, along with relaxed seating and binoculars to admire the view. Double doors open in to the dining room, with large dining table to seat ten and harbour views. Past the ornate staircase that runs through the middle of the house, is the cosy living room with wood burner and fitted kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a ground floor cloakroom with WC and utility cupboard.
Once upstairs, a light and airy hallway leads to all four bedrooms which have all been tastefully furnished in coastal pastel hues. There is a King size bedroom and a single room which overlook the harbour, along with a King size and a zip and link room on the garden side of the house (which can either be set as a King size or two singles - please request bed make up at the time of booking). Also on the first floor is the family bathroom, and next door shower room.
Guests also have private use of the one bedroom annexe which is just steps from the back door of the main house. The annexe is accessed via its own front door, and is complete with a King size four poster bed, along with a shower room and a separate WC.
The property is in a fantastic location for exploring the local area, named after the nearby Nothe Fort, a popular family attraction all year round, recently awarded the number 1 best thing to do in Weymouth on 'tripadvisor'. Just steps from the waters edge, Nothe House provides easy access to the Harbour and the South West Coast path.

From ASDA Weymouth - follow boot hill upwards towards Portland until you reach the set of traffic lights turning left into Rodwell Avenue. Follow this road all the way to the bottom, until you reach the mini roundabout. Go straight over at the roundabout and take the bend to the right. Follow Horsford St up the hill past 'CEFAS' on your right - continue straight, passing the car park on your right, and you'll reach Nothe House at the end of the row of Coastguard Cottages. The driveway is here on the left, or you can park in the car park opposite (charges apply).
