Excellent customer services from Mark and Clare. If you are looking to stay with your family then i would definitely recommend Cumberland Hotel. Family room was nice too.

Had 2 lovely days. Hotel spotless, breakfast lovely. Mark and Claire lovely couple who looked after us very well. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

A lovely B&B
Really friendly hosts, really clean hotel and room and good choices for breakfast. However, those with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs, with the breakfast room being an extra flight. A couple of minor issues with light bulbs not working and spotty tv reception. Otherwise a great stay and will stay again if im ever in Weymouth

This was our second stay at The Cumberland, excellent as before! We book a family room number 7, it’s very quiet with a rear view over the town, spacious, light and very cosy. I normally don’t pay a particular attention to toiletries but they are so good at The Cumberland so I had to google and order for my home. Hosts are wonderful, breakfast yummy and central location. They provide parking permit if you can find a spot near the hotel. We’ll be back!

Great Hotel
Wonderful hotel. Close to the train station. Across from the beach. Very good hot breakfast and good selection of cold items. Only negative is the lack of an elevator if your room is on the top floor.

Had a lwonderful 3 nights at the cumberland mark was a very good host,we stayed in room 9 which had sea view, room was cleaned every day had all tea coffee replenished daily, very nice breakfast each morning cereals , fresh fruit , and full english tea coffee fruit juices overall was a wonderful 3 nights in a lovely b&b would score it 5/5

We arrived on Maundy Thursday in Dorset to Rain,Hail, Thunder & Lightning! Thankfully The Hosts Mark and Clare were very Welcoming and the Rest of our Weekend in Weymouth was Sunny! I would Recommend the Cumberland ……it’s on The Seafront and very close to the Town Centre.

Lovely
Lovely stay. A very friendly and welcoming reception from Mark, and our room immediately available. The room was beautifully presented, clean and warm. Breakfast again beautifully presented with cereal, fresh yogurt, fresh fruit and berries and a fantastic cooked breakfast too. The only slight negative being that the room was really too warm for our liking.

A short walk from the station & a delightful place to stay with huge amounts of storage space. The owners are helpful & the breakfast was far superior to any provided by many an “upmarket” hotel or chain.
