Perfect stay close to Sheppard AFB
This house ended up being the perfect place to stay when visiting my fiancé who was training for 5 months at Sheppard. I was lucky enough to be able to road trip down with our two dogs to stay for a month and this house was perfect. It’s about 5 minutes from the base which allowed for frequent visits and also nearby Lake Arrowhead state park and other beautiful parks and walking areas to take the dogs. If you have time I highly recommend visiting the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge about an hour away but totally worth it (we went 5 times). The house is stocked with everything you need and more to make it like home and the host is very kind and responded quickly to any messages I sent during my month long stay. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone else traveling, especially with pups, to visit the area.

Amazing house and owners!!
This house was exactly what we needed, with space for not only me and my husband but also our 2 teenage daughters. The layout threw me off at first but we quickly adapted and it did not bother us. It was a quick 5 minute drive to the base and we were able to see our son as well as it being a quick drive to get anything we may need. Best part is we were also able to bring our dog with us and have her in a safe and secure location. The owners were amazing to work with and honestly made the whole trip easier. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!

Perfect location for a visit to the base.
We stayed here to see our son graduated his A school, this place was a perfect location, only 4 mins away from the base. When the other comments say if you forgot something, Sherry definitely did not, I have been to a lot of vrbos and by far this place we got the most for the price.

A Simple Getaway

Great with a pup
We were only passing through, so we were only there for a night, but it was wonderful. There's a gated spot for your pup, and a nice outdoor area. The master bathroom with the jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long roadtrip day. We will definitely stay again.

Well stocked and easy driving distance to Wichita Falls.
Enjoyed having the bottled water in the refrigerator and plenty of towels and wash cloths. Easily adjustable heat. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Easy access to entrance. Parking was a bit questionable but overall a cozy experience.

Awesome stay!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and everything they described on the app. She even had snacks and drinks for us when we arrived, and the bathrooms had everything you needed for a shower incase you forgot something. My son graduated from his tech school at the Sheppard Air Force Base and we came up for that. It was a very short drive to the base.

Absolutely beautiful stay!
This house was everything we could have asked for and more. From the spacious pen for our dogs to the cozy fire pit area with hanging lights, every detail was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had an amazing time grilling steaks and asparagus on the outdoor grill, and the entire setup made it feel like a true home away from home. Inside, the house was spotless, with incredible natural lighting and thoughtful decor that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. We loved the entertainment options, with TVs all around the house to keep everyone happy, and the bathtub was perfect for a little extra relaxation. The host was also incredibly accommodating, allowing us to book last minute and even extend our stay by an extra night. Honestly, I wish I could live here—I’d never want to leave! Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for comfort, style, and outstanding amenities.

Wonderful stay!
My husband and I were in town for our uncles surgery, we also brought our dog. The place was beautiful decorated and stocked. The outside dog yard was nice to have. We were not able to use the sitting area and fire pit but hope to have time on our next return. The bed was comfortable and though we didn’t bring our kids this time there is room if we choose to when we return. Great stay very responsive host. Will recommend to friends and plan to return if our next visit dates are available.
